You can't say muay thai is a kickboxing with elbow and knee . kickboxing was created by Japanese cuz karate lose to Thai fighter it's kickboxing is a muay thai without elbow and knee

Kick-boxing is better and you can’t prove otherwise kick-boxing has so much better head movement and footwork then Muay Thai

No, you got that wrong. Takeru is certainly not one of the best kickboxers, currently in the world. If you analyse all the other talent that's currently out there, he's not even in the top 100. Don't just make conclusions based on a fighter's record and give them free and, worst of all, false advertisement. You have to research, do the work and see whom he's actually fought, defeated and how he beat them. On the top of my head, I can give you 30 Thai fighters that are under 25 years old and much better than Takeru. Just because they're mostly known through events like Thai Fight, and only occasionally fight in kickboxing bouts, it doesn't mean that they should be excluded and neglected.

Kickboxers have better kicks & hands that thai fighters, but thai fighters have more powerful kicks, better clinch, better knees & elbows than kickboxers, overall muay thai is better than kickboxing, best training would be muay thai then just learn a wheel kick & spinning back kick

In my opinion, better hands makes a huge difference. Good boxing is pretty useful for either style

@@user-wq4nf4dk3s better hands doesn’t really mean too much when a thai fighter front kicks you to death, and if you get too close you’ll catch a knee or clinch into elbow, boxing become less lethal once other tools are around, the best fighters are never the best boxers, they either are an all arounder, or have an amazing front kick

@@realtruth1448but when a muay Thai guy gets rocked by a kickboxer the chances of him surviving are lower than the kickboxer if the roles are reversed. Most of the time due to lack of good boxing defence.

@@realtruth1448 Boxing is what consistently put the legends in trouble, such as when Buakaw was knocked down from an overreliance on the long guard against a heavy puncher, or how Lerdsila lost to Gabriel Varga. In contests where elbows aren't allowed, good boxing can shift the tides. Heck, even in contests where elbows are allowed recently you see quite a bit of punching, think Rodtang, Akimoto, or many western fighters

@@user-wq4nf4dk3s I understand where you’re going with this, but my point still stands, the greatest fighters aren’t the best boxer’s, there’s too many threats to rely heavily on boxing, when you get into MMA/muay thai you notice they most just do a jab, jab cross, and a hook, and use long guard, that’s really all you need because you have better tools like kicks, elbows, knees, etc etc
