I know Thai is popular but I always hated it. Jkd kung fu and boxing are really good for real life Thai is more sport. That sweep is from MMA, you should use it. Roundhouse kicks are a bad idea. They are for sport.

@@YT-algorithm-is-strange I am like driving so yeah you're never going to deal the maximum width Thai Muay Thai or not going to do it you never going to deal with the situation safely with that martial art never going to do it I don't recommend that you striking and all you should probably just gravel because why hurt someone else also but if you do use any kind of striking at all you should probably use Street that's a good style for the street you should also use boxing that's really good sit out for the street and you should probably use JKD Those are the best things that you could ever use the things that you would want to learn from Muay Thai would be the head clench but you got that from every other martial art besides boxing so that's not special at all you've also got the roundhouse kick it being better with Muay Thai but remember you don't want to throw a roundhouse kick in real life as a very dangerous and stupid thing for you to do and it will absolutely get you knocked out killed stabbed and everything else it's just not a good reality martial art the same is true for double-leg takedown you shouldn't use a double-leg takedown and real-life someone's probably going to shoot you or stab you while you're doing that

This sweep is honestly amazing it's not super hard to learn and it is really effective you also have the arm there so that your not getting kicked in the ribs like some other sweeps (I know your supposed to side step so it's not so hard but it's still nice to not take full impact on ribs 😂)

He does it so effortlessly and effectively, when he kicks he sweeps the leg with his foot upwards, which forces the partner's leg in the air thus forcing the body to be horizontal to the floor in mid-air. Beautiful.

I used to do Muay Thai when I was 8 (obviously I was too young and the environment was too laid back to actually get anything out of it). Our Kru challenged all of us to spar him at once. Obviously, clumsy 8 year old fists and knees didn’t hurt him at all. He didn’t strike us, but only leg sweep us. So this brought back a lot of memories. Wished I continued Muay Thai when I had the chance back then though.

I heard as soon as someone gets ahold of your leg: 1) Jump towards your opponent while bringing your caught leg towards your center of gravity. 2) push downward with the caught leg using all of your body weight. 3) either hold onto the opponent to support your transfer of weight or attack them while they have one arm available. 4)wake up from your comma, something went wrong. either you didn't imply the steps properly or you've got no talent.

What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. One of the most important, yet neglected things in martial arts/self-defense is knowing how to fall and also to have that ability to fall down and get back up. If you don't know how to react upon falling or being dropped, you can severely injure yourself and end up 6 feet under.
