Hi mikeno,you should never advance a film like this on Pentacon6, you must retain gently a film advance crank if not ,you destroy a mecanism or at least mess a correct space between frames.

Thank you for the great video! Do you, by chance, know how to fix a mechanical issue on PSix TL? The shutter button does not work anymore. The mirror is down, the winder lever is stuck and the shutter button can be pressed, but does not do anything. I should also mention that the self timer lever is cocked. I think that the issue comes from the timer lever because I've tried (and succeeded) to fire the shutter using the hinge from under the mirror, but the self timer mechanism does not trigger, and after rearming the shutter, the button still doesn't work... I've found the issues on the internet, but had no luck in finding any solves for it. Any suggestion would be welcome.

Do you guys know of a place that might fix a camera like this one in Toronto, Canada? Or somewhere in Canada. Shipping overseas is just too expensive.

I have a customized Pentacon Six TL with modified film advance and a red window in the back for the numbers on backing paper. The advance is just a wheel which replaces the knob to insert the take-up spool. Like this the camera would work again as camera

In Berlin-Germany there is still a shop editing Pentacon six TL cameras. Send the camera there and you will be satisfied.
