An important note on the overthrow at the goal line is that 83 starts to drift sideways which is a huge no no for a reciever. Not only is he not getting full stride to get underneath a well thrown ball, he’s losing separation with the DB which would hurt if that had to be a jump ball or back shoulder because of pressure.

To me, MPJ will be the best QB in this draft, and I honestly think if it wasnt for the injuries and age he would be ranked second behind Williams. So yes, I would be thrilled if the Patriots took him.

I have a new theory regarding all the QBs this draft. Initially it looked like it makes sense for the *Patriots* to trade down. If they're not going after a QB, then they can get a _lot_ of picks for their #3. But then I heard something that made me reconsider. Do you know what next year's QB draft class looks like? Like Kenny Pickett. Or nothing. So anyone not getting a QB in the draft _this_ season will also not be able to draft one *next* season. & even though they can draft Daniels or Maye, _this is the guy_ the Pats invited to train last week. But who can they possibly trade back with & still feel like they can secure him? After all, the Giants don't _"need"_ a QB, except for what I just said about none being there to draft next season. They have Dan Jones, Drew Lock & Tommy DeVito. But a good GM. I wonder what they're planning.
