It's kinda scary how MatPat got it right after the revelations in the latest Q&A about the Wakey Wakey trailer. The creators hated this version of the show because they were being pushed into getting it more "Political" and "South Park" like about their satire. So, yeah. MatPat got it right from a 20 seconds trailer.

someone already pointed it out, but becky and joe confirmed mat’s theory and said he was quite literally right on the money. they said that they didn’t want to make it like a south park or political tv show, and that after releasing the trailer, they scrapped the entire wakey wakey series and tv show. now e have the awesome mini series that’s out now. so, yeah, becky and joe were already saying mat was so correct that they had to get rid of it or american youtube wouldn’t allow it.

June 19 2022 is the first June 19 since this trailer release that will be on Father's Day. If the previous theories are correct, Wakey Wakey will release this June 19 since it's Father's Day.

For all wondering, Becky Sloan (one of the creators) posted September 1st, 2021 on Instagram that they are finally done with shooting. That means progress is being made and it will likely come out soon!!!

What is weird about this trailer is that they have their original colors instead of their favorite colors. Does that mean their "real life" colors are these ones and the colors they used at the end of DHMIS are like fantasies?

Anyone else find it a bit ironic that the DHMIS creators are now partnering with corporate production companies to spread political messages after warning of the corrupting influence of corporate power on art? If this video is right of course

I don't care if this theory turns out to be wrong or not. The fact that the film theory crew was able to take 30 SECONDS OF PRACTICALLY NOTHING AND FIGURE OUT THE ENTIRE (possible) PLOT of the next episode is legendary!!! I applaud all you guys👏, amazing job!!!

Just to say, Matpat, someone recorded some of the pilot episode for Wakey Wakey, but, near the end, there isn’t any footage, just pictures and someon explaining. The video is somewhat small, but, it’s still able to be seen, and the footage is somewhat bad, but, it’s still viewable.

I only just realised that the heart covered in glitter in episode 1(?) is ducks heart as shown at 3:15, ducks organs are covered in the same glitter as the heart.

original idea by: @Shrillville in the first video of the series so basically this person talks about how each episode with is on the same day and that the last one is the day ending…here’s the order: first they’re having breakfast and learn about being creative then they watch tv and learn about time then they have a picnic lunch with yellow guy learning about love then they go home and learn about computers then they have some dinner and finally yellow guy goes to bed, next episode being June 20th I really agree with this because in each episode we see yellow guy especially being tormented by his father/father’s creations…all on June 19th, father’s day…this means that the father and yellow guy have a difficult relationship with each other, this could possibly indicate about how yellow guy dislikes June 19th because it’s father’s day and he possibly thinks that it would be different each time but it isn’t, this also ties in with the ending/next day…when father’s day is over and yellow guy and his friends can be happy…but that’s just a theory A COMMENT THEORYYY thanks for reading. I think the main problems with this theory is that: a). MatPat seems to think this is going to be series arc, but it has been said to only be a pilot in interviews ever since the trailer came out b). This new series is being funded by outside companies & is going to be on TV, which heavily contradicts MatPat’s previous theory on DHMIS

It’s funny that DHMIS has now joined with a corporation, the exact same thing they were against in the original DHMIS.

It’s going to be Channel 4 (at least in the UK) and it should be out this year as per instagram hints from the creators

Wakey wakey is back! There is a new video called “Fly” and the trailer is gone from the channel aswell. I’m no theorist myself but I’d love to see a new video about it if you have the time :)

It'll be fun seeing how this theory holds up once the new DHMIS starts rolling out.

SPOILERS There was leaked footage of this new series. And surprisngly Matt Patt's video is close. Everyone sings the Wakey Wakey song and when they cue the Mayor he is gone. Duck investigates and they find that he is gone. The trio searches the office and they find the Key. The Key goes off topic and breaks into a song. Duck and Yellow Guy are distracted so Red Guy leaves town to find him. Duck becomes the mayor and Yellow Guy leaves because Key melted a present that held a puppy (its Yellow Guy's birthday) and Key deceives Duck thinking that there are sinister people and the town needs to be protected. Meanwhile Red Guy ventures to a forest and finds the Mayor who left for currently unknown reasons. Back at the town, Yellow Guy meets a new punk character who wants to go against Duck and gets Yellow Guy to become a Punk. Yellow Guy gets overboard and spray paints over a poster of Duck, and it catches the punk character off guard.

3:59: Shows me a door Me: OH NO! it's the door to purple guy's house!!!!

Watching the pilot leaks... he got so much right... So the mayor goes missing, and the key starts singing about safety and strangers. Red guy Leaves town to try and find the mayor while duck becomes mayor and starts being crazy with security under the influence of the key. meanwhile red guy finds the mayor and they try to go back to town... and that's where the leaks end, but mat got alot right.

THE MAYOR IS NEXT TO RED GUY WHEN RED GUY IS OUT OF THE GATE

I think DHMIS will be back next year. This year Father’s Day falls on June 20th but in 2022 it will be on June 19th
