Just got my hands on a nice 1V today. There is something about the real film look i can't explain, it's just more pleasing to the eye in a weird way. I have an EOS R so maybe i will make a comparison video too some day. Now i just need at nice set of primes, but i got "the holy trinity" of zooms with EF mount to start with.

If canon decides to release a professional analogues camera, cannon could increase the numbers of focus fields like the patters of the EOS 1D x Mark III. Especially the fields on the 1/3 points in the grid. I it an disadvantage that the auto-focus fields are so centered? I could imagine that it is no so easy using open aperture while shooting if you shift and shift an tilt from the nearest focus field to point the model. You can lose sharpness in the case. What do you think?

i would use a FLASH AT ALL TIMES and make sure you got a good LENS which would be a 50mm or a 85mm or 10mm or even a 135mm for portrait photography

recently got one. The shutter count 116 but when I press the button there’s a dragging sound after the mirror. Is that normal? Or is it a bad shutter? I got the HS version ! Thanks for the video!

you can take good photos from BOTH CAMERAS AS LONG as long as you understand PHOTOGRAPHY AND LIGHT
