How is it that every criminal featured on Unsolved Mysteries has served their sentence and been released, even with life sentences for murder?

This show has been running for like 4 decades some of them don't end of serving thier full sentence some of them get parole some of those sentences get altered and they get out early and some of them actually serve thier time

I personally know 3 men who were convicted of murder that are out today. The one I know personally who introduced me to the other two, was locked up at 19 for murdering a 17 year-old girl and was released in his early 50's. As long as your sentence carries the possibility of parole they will eventually let you out. A lot of murderers dont even end up doing their full sentence. Depending on the state you might only end up doing a little over half of the time you got sentenced before you are allowed parole as long as you dont get in any real trouble on the inside.

It was probably some bogus 2Nd degree murder charge not 1st degree w/ life sentence.

If he is showing psycho tendencies it is best to do it discreetly, dont announce it till you move out and are safely away.

Unfortunately true, when I left the father of my kids, he began to stalk and harass me I tried to take out a temporary restraining order or order of protection but the courts denied it because we have multiple children and they felt it would be difficult for us to have to go thru 3rd party in order to not have physical contact while exchanging the kids, but I begged and pleaded with the courts to grant me the order I even brought my police reports as he had been arrested a couple times in the past for abusing me I brought photos even affidavits from the arresting officers and my former CPS worker and pictures of my injuries the judge still told us we needed "work it out as adults and come to an agreement as far as co parenting" which is all I want is a healthy drama free co parenting arrangement but it's hard to keep things positive when he's constantly threatening me harassing me and stalking me he's very upset because I moved on and I'm very happily married so the fact that he's jealous angry and still has feelings for me makes the situation a living hell and all I want is the best for our kids might I add he is a phenomenal upstanding Father I can't deny that he helps out tremendously financially and spends lots of time with them he takes them places he's very patient loving and devoted to his kids no doubt about that he's just very obsessive jealous and possessive when it comes to me before our breakup we had been together for 13 years purchased our first home and vehicle together got matching tattoos went on vacations and lots of outings we were like best friends but he started to change once the kids started coming and years went by I felt like all he wanted me to do was be barefoot and pregnant washing dishes cleaning doing laundry cooking ironing and taking care of all the babies while he worked and was always at bars an shit it's like what about me I want a break sometimes too I wanna get all pretty and go out and chill with my friends too our oldest is 16 so she can watch the kids and I go enjoy myself as well but he would get super duper angry and argumentatively angry if I wanted to look pretty or go out without him I sick being treated like the nanny or some piece of property, so glad I moved on moved out got high rise condo a new car a new career as a mortician and a new very kind very loving trustworthy very good looking appreciative loyal husband God is definitely good I'm definitely blessed my kids love him too and that's what matters the most and he adores them too. Wow sorry for rambling with my BS lol but that particular segment of this episode hit home and made me think how I dodged a bullet getting away from my Ex husband because I could've been dead as well too all the beatings and scary situations I was in when the kids where at school or sleeping he used to abuse me physically mentally sexually and emotionally but I am not a victim thankfully I am a survivor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!¡👏🏾🙏🏾👍🏾💗💪🏾

Yeah, thats why as soon they show any signs of being violent towards you is when you should get away. The longer you stay with that kind of person the more possessive they become over you, and the longer you stay the more regular the abusive treatment will become because they always get away with it.

Definitely a dangerous place to be looking for a partner. Selling all her assets was a bad sign too. Likely it was his idea. Pity no one researched him until she disappeared.

They can convict on almost next to nothing for evidence. But Colleen’s case isn’t considered murder? He’s a crook. He’s a liar. He’s been to prison. And he gives 3 different stories on why she left- giving the usual, ‘she left with a boyfriend’. She sells everything & is never seen again. He comes back & she doesn’t? This is a clear cut case that he had murdered her. He was the last person seen with her & she’s never surfaced again.

Dude has anybody ever watched Fargo the show and the movie??? because the people from the Weaver episode are clearly connected and if not it's a pretty good coincidence. Even the names are almost the same Gordy is one of the names that use and Unsolved Mysteries and in Fargo Gene is another one in the way that she's killed in the basement with a blunt object is the same as the TV show I mean there are a lot of connections it's pretty crazy and it happened in Minnesota White Bear Lake

The toxicology tests must have been pretty lousy back then. They found residue in her nostrils but not her blood, it doesn't make sense.

It may have not ingested into her system fully before she died but was still detected on her nose, I remember hearing something about a person sniffing cocaine right before they died and it was detected in their nose but not in their blood or urine because when you die obviously your body functions stop and the drugs and alcohol or whatever substances you've taken may not be detected because they haven't had a chance to move thru your system before your body shut down and some tests aren't time sensitive, at my job we have 48 hour tests meaning whatever you drank smoke sniffed shot it ingested any other way will be detected if you did them in the last 48 hours or more it's weird but that's how some lab tests work

Toxicology tests were advanced enough to decipher what drugs are in the deceased’ system. I don’t know what the problem was in that case.

I think Natasha plugged the fan in when she got out of the shower and was electrocuted, her hair was still wet when she was found and the fan was laying on top of her, it doesn’t necessarily leave any burn marks, it happened to my cousin and it knocked her down, but she was fine…🤔
