Yo I definitely agree I had to turn my head when they showed her creepy ass that lady freaks me out and I'm not easily spooked she is absolutely Lucifer's wife for sure, she belongs in jail and needs to go straight to hell for all the bizarrely illegal circumstances, this episode and the one about the couple who brought the house that built on an old graveyard for slaves and the slave couple that was haunting them for digging thier graves to remodel their home the spirits killed her daughter and stole her shoes, that episode kept me up that night I watched it, LOL I don't play around with the supernatural and spirit stuff.

Yeah I feel the same. Its even more evident after binging the episodes up here after not seeing the original Robert Stack eps since the late 90's. Seems like they started to concentrate on weaker things instead of covering the creepy and disturbing murder and related cases in the earlier seasons. You can see that the producers apparently changed around the 7th season I believe, when the intro music and format changed. This is probably to blame for the shift in focus.
@monicamariamclean21982 жыл бұрын
Charles rest in peace
@CyberKnight-dd8fq2 жыл бұрын
@@NinjaKurosai I agree, as I was binging, I noticed they slowly were edging away from the re-enactments from the seasons prior into new seasons, just being your every day documentary with a bunch of people talking, and just a half-assed camera moving in the areas of the last known location. Even the Netflix reboot does this. But I get why they did that, the true aim is for the public to help in these cold cases, not really to give us entertainment. It basically shows how things changed over time, back then if things weren't s spectacle, no one would give a rhyme or reason, now people opt for just the facts, nothing flashy in between otherwise it could distract from the truth or in some cases be considered offensive. It's a sad truth, but its the reality of how times have changed from the 80's, to the 90's, and then to the early and modern 2000's. Also, sorry for the text wall.

Partial update on Charles Southern’s case: Unsolved. In 1994, Terri Hoffman was sentenced to sixteen months in prison for bankruptcy fraud. However, she was never determined to be accountable for any of the deaths. She later remarried and took the name "Terri Lilya Keanely". She died in October 2015. Sadly, Charles's mother Ingerborg passed away in 2015 at the age of 94. unsolvedmysteries.fandom.com/wiki/Charles_Southern_Jr.

Totally agree, Clinton. But hindsight is 20/20. He kept me off balance, things moved so quickly, that is how con men operate, they intimidate you and make you thing you're the one who's crazy for questioning them. It's a form of brainwash. It was just before the internet. I did question that he didn't look exactly like Palmer, but I didn't have a photo of Palmer, just going by memory. Plus, who was I to question him, Mercedes dealership just delivered a Mercedes worth $120K to my driveway just for Kern's personal use. So although I had doubts, I didn't have enough confidence at the time to trust my judgement over Mercedes. There were other examples but that gives you an idea.

There are people like this, everywhere!! I know someone personally and they can't be told otherwise.
@JanetStarChild Жыл бұрын
There are millions of people like that; and because cults such as Christianity and Islam have become so infused with one's culture, they're allowed to bamboozle suckers, virtually unimpeded.

"Detective Jim Medley served more than 35 years with the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office where he investigated violent crimes including several high-profile homicides. In 2004, he was named “Detective of the Year.” His dedication to investigative work and inter-agency cooperation led to the capture of the Dougherty Gang following a 2011 cross-country crime spree that included attempted murder and bank robbery. He continues to serve the citizens of Pasco County as a reserve investigator."

There's a bit of a weird loop hole with the message in the bottle story. How did the people know to send it to his work address when they would have had his childhood address from years ago?
@JanetStarChild Жыл бұрын
It's possible that the post office forward it to his new address.
@cazi5759Ай бұрын
37:14 It says that after 18 years, he returned to his hometown. Sounds like he lived at the old address again… and maybe his mother moved away?

Thank you, I am Elizabeth. I used to watch Formula One Grand Prix races on TV with my former husband. We also travelled to many of the races, hence my somewhat limited knowledge. If I had just known a bit more, this never would have happened to me.

@@elizabethballard7410 How do you feel having your story on UM on KZfaq after all these years? thanks for responding by the way, hopefully things have worked out a lot better for you in the decades since :)

@@CursoryMercenary I believe having my story out there still serves a purpose. As you probably are aware, there is a real stigma to being conned. I'm hoping other women viewing my story will realize they're not alone and it wasn't their fault. And regarding Kern, he's still out there conning/scamming/thieving/ harrassing/threatening people. Many people who either came in contact with Kern personally, or were going to do business with him but because suspicious found this segment on-line. So it's definitely helped spread the word about him. And thank you so much for your kind sentiments. Yes I'm doing well. I remarried four years ago and am very happy.
