This one needed enough work that it takes 2 videos to get through it all. Follow along on a deep dive bicycle tuneup journey and learn how to restore bikes for resale yourself! Lubricate, adjust and tune derailleurs, brakes and bearing on almost any bicycle. True wheels! Fix your flat tires!

Fair play to you Andy, this truly looks like a labour of love. Great job, sir. This old girl really made you work to get her back in good shape but, man alive, it was worth the trouble.

Good job. It's good to see someone bringing old bikes back to a serviceable condition.

Since tall steel frames of the 90th are very rare (ask me how I know), this was an important rescue of this particular bike. The seat post issue was really painful and stuck seat posts likely have the potential to ruin a frame completely, which happens more than expected. Very good job, Andy.

Saved that one from the dumpster when most wouldn’t have. Best part (as you say) it’s got a new life or more.

I have a bike 7 speed and the rear rail will not work for all 7 speeds. The derailer was bent should I replace it?? Thanks 😊
