Kate Marcella my husband does not clean but he works 50+ hours a week with only one day off (sometimes not even that) as long as be cleans up after himself and makes our son help me when I need it I’m fine. I do have to ask for extra help sometimes but I usually just do it all myself, I also work but cleaning is relaxing for me. To each his own I guess

Bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) sprinkled in the sink, sprayed with vinegar if you want, but use half a lemon, cut side down, to scrub the bicarb around the sink. It will SPARKLE! And then you can put the lemon half in the top rack of your dishwasher as a natural degreaser for ultra shiny glasses!

If Bissell cant get it out then go with professionals. Bissell is one of the best steam cleaners. I hope you will have the kids help you soon! They need to start cleaning their own messes up. Then they wont make so many? That's what it took for mine. You look great. Your hair will grow back in. Mine did same thing but came back in.👍The Bissell Crosswave is awsome! Get one you NEED it! Lol. Bar keepers friend is really good and so is good old bleach. Bleach kills germs really well when nothing else will. I must say it's very nice to see your husband help you clean up!!👍💜😁 That's wonderful! Praise him so he will keep it up!👍👍

Concerning the nail polish/lipstick stains in Aria's room, I have a tip for that. With manicure scissors just trim off the fibers of the carpet that are stained. If you can then see a "bald space" where you clipped, go into a closet or underneath a baseboard and clip off a small hunk of carpeting and Gorilla glue it. I've done this several times in my lifetime and it works wonders. Love the cleaning videos!

My daughter had a pocket full of crayons zipped up in her nice expensive coat. It made it through the wash and dryer. When I opened the dryer all the clothes and inside of the dryer was blue and purple. That was lovely.

Would DEFINITELY recommend the portable Bissell carpet cleaner! It’s so convenient for cleaning quick stains or smaller spaces/objects. Absolutely worth the purchase!

I love this video!! Brittney I have the same shampooer I just did our living room. It comes with a hose so try doing just that over the red lip stick. I even sprayed it and let sit for a few minutes Bissell makes a pretreatment spray u can use as well.

I watched a cleaning experiment showing if cleaners clean the bacteria. Interestingly Thieves didn’t actually kill all of the bacteria in the Petri dish. Craziest thing I found in the dryer was $500 in notes from my husbands pants and ripped in lots of pieces.

In some cases, it's kinda good for cleaners to not kill all bacteria. It prevents bacteria resistance! Obviously in certain areas that are high risk for infectious bacteria (like kitchen counters and toilets) you'll want the cleaner to kill all the bacteria, but otherwise it's not so bad :)

Right? Essential oils might make everything smell and look nice but they don’t disinfect. Especially with COVID going on, bleach kills everything. Just be cautious and go over everything with hot water after 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have found several tubes of chapstick in the dryer, a baby bottle pop (the candy)😣 and a swim diaper! I ❤️ Zep products! I have bought several while bored at Lowe’s with my husband lol. They are all amazing!

Fun fact for y’all: If you have a carpet stain try using hand soap and water together and the stain will come out. No joke, my mom did this all the time growing up and it worked every time! Put water on the stain first and then a small amount of hand soap, scrub with a wash cloth and it should come out!

When we bought our house the girls room had a cream carpet where a whole bottle of red nail polish had spilled 2 years earlier. I used Oxiclean, 2 white towels, a scrub brush & a lot of scrubbing later it was almost gone. A few weeks later I did it again & the little bit of pink that was left came up. Oh yeah & the 2 old white towels I used were never whiter, LOL! I bought that carpet cleaner when it 1st came out & love it...

Get the crosswave! With little kids and hard floors it is life! I’ve had mine for 2 years and want to upgrade to the cordless option(and my husband will take my corded one for his garage). We use ours 1-2 times a week for the whole house. It’s so simple to use and get clean floors for the littles.

I highly recommend the Bissel crosswave! It’s one of my favorite cleaning products! It isn’t meant for carpet, but you can use it on area rugs! In one of my my last cleaning videos I added essential oil to it, because the cleaner doesn’t have a pretty scent, but with the essential oil my house smelled soooo good! Try using nail polish or wd40 remover on the lipstick stain, blot it don’t rub, it should come up with that.

I love these cleaning videos! There is a product at the Dollar Tree called "Awesome" and it does wonders! I've spilled coffee, nail polish, soda, etc on my cream carpet because I am clumpy and it comes right up!! Give it a try! :)
