I understand the gain and loss of leveraged firm now. much more clarity than before. this is how you teach a business finance course. my professor should really watch this video, anyways... a lot of respect to Patrick!

If equity means your ownership and shares outstanding is shareholders ownership why would we use shares outstanding and multiply by market price and put it under equity?

The question I keep waiting to be answered is what is the ideal capital structure? What capital structure will maximize EPS? I will keep watching...lol

There is no ideal capital structure in Finance, there will always be a trade-off between debt and equity ;)
