@@randomuserameif that dev person can beat this boss while 15 level below it, then people that are like 14 to 1 level below the boss would have a slightly easier time beating it and again the keyword here is "SLIGHTLY" since that boss is still hard and/or challenging depending on you skill and accessories.

@@SirCharlzTV if no one has done it then thats bad. devs should be testing to see if bosses are beatable on all levels so they can set balances and such. so the fact that this dev here can beat a boss with well timed parries and knowledge means they played it alot thus a lot of testing.

Actually, the hype level is lower than that of FF15. I can understand why... FF has always been a niche series with a lot of recognition coming from FF7. I think they're trying way too hard to appeal to the western audience but FF was never really that big in the west (sales wise). Exclusivity to one platform doesn't help either. I think it would've helped a LOT if they did a day 1 release on PC along with PS5... I hope Sony wrote them a HUGE paycheck for this because the install base for the PS5 is nothing compared to the PS4 at the moment. But, I do think SE will have second thoughts on 1 platform releases in the future. Unless, like I said, Sony wrote them a HUGE check... which, wouldn't make sense for Sony, but who knows. Just hope it doesn't take too long to make the PC port (and being a good port at that... seeing how poorly ports have been lately).

Considering he made the DMC combat style too, I imagine by this point the combat he designs really flows well with him in which case it at least shows that he can test the full extent of the combat while others can test varying levels of skill so we at least know he's designing combat that works well no matter the skill. That's a way to really bolster your already well renowned name when it comes to combat design, what a legend

Hes 15 levels below the requires level to fight it, woth unoptimized gear, he only had to heal about 3 times, and parried two area sweeping attacks back to back while also pulling high damage combos in between those parries. Can you tell that he was one of the guys behind the Vergil DLC for DMC5?

while basically true, its still misleading. Their team clears an undertuned fight and from that data they add a certain % to the boss health because actual Week1-HC raiders are typically that much better. The overtuning of P8S happened, because the dev raidteam themselves got better, so that adding another fixed % to the HP got into the realm of needing a meta composition + crit-luck reliance. They are good at their game, but they always acknowledged that the top players are a certain level above them. They simple catched up a bit unknowingly

At most it was QoL stuff that should be in the game in the first place (which to some extend were added recently in the last x patches). @Jerry Kuo One of the biggest reasons I became a huge fan of Max is his love for Final Fantasy. Ever since I first played Final Fantasy IV on Super NES as a kid, Final Fantasy has always been my #1 favorite game franchise of all-time and seeing Max's videos about Final Fantasy really echo my own love & enthusiasm for the series. Max is easily one of my 5 favorite KZfaqrs of all-time.

Now this is how you showcase and review your game... No media critic that cant even play the tutorial and say's the game might be to hard for the common folk, But someone that knows the game by heart so well that you want to play the game to become this guy... It gets you hyped up to see wat you can do and how skill is actually a thing that you learn by understanding and acting. Not by just watching and assuming yourself in said situation. While it's nice to see "average" gameplay, it's also nice to see that learning the game and improving can result in very satisfying high level gameplay, as that's the carrot on stick that many aspire to. Having some level of higher skilled gameplay to push for in each fight, and the satisfaction you get when you do it and then do it more consistently.

The people who judge this as potentially being too easy; are the same people who button mash when put into a fighter game like mortal combat, soul calibur, anime gauntlet games, etc. Games that provide the potential to add personal flare to your combat is badass. Learning to play well enough so you can finish with your ultimate like it was a movie scene is an actual gamer vibe.

I thought this game looked cool, but wasn't planning on buying it...this shit convinced me otherwise. It's so cool watching someone this skilled at a game demonstrating just how high the skill cap can go. Idk why more people don't do this. This definitely sold me more on the game than your average demo.

@@Dylan-lx5ro the demo is the first 2hrs of the real game, so the prologue, and you can carryover your progress to the real game, So i guess its a spoiler? But only spoils first 2hrs of the actual game not lategame stuff

Yeah same. I was really worried in their earlier showcase when Yoshi P did a fight by mashing just one button. It means that the easy mode is game journalist easy but they also have a high skill ceiling for people who enjoy that.

I felt so relieved after playing the demo today. Thank God this game is going to be dope. I had such high hopes and after today, release can't get here fast enough.
