I think it's pathetic that your save doesn't carry over. Mass Effect came out a very long time ago and your save went across the entire Trilogy. Also in OG FF7 it carried across "Please insert the next disk".

So for us that didn't want to play the Demo because we didn't want the story out of sync are punished and will not receive the extra items, am I correct? Kupo Charm & Survival Set

Just for this I am dissappointed in Rebirth, the original game u can carry over everything u worked for and now u have to start again, cant even use the behemoth i got

@@mrpotatopuffs420 welcome to the internet 🫡 I'm just Say'n you can't use the original as reference since it came out as 1 complete game. They couldn't fit it on 1 disc. This game is released in parts. 🤔 the tomb raider trilogy. Is the same story same continuance, nothing carries over. That being said I was under the impression it was gonna carry over and I'm a little sad that it didn't. But oh well

So I’m assuming that leviathan and ramuh cannot be obtained later in this game then only if you have save data for the previous games? I went back a few days ago because I thought intermission was free for ps5 users in general and it’s only free for certain ps plus users and since I only have the basic plan I guess no ramuh for me

They didn't give fans actual ''Classic Mode'' in two games now, and they shafted us with not being able to carry equipment over. I'm fully expecting airstrikes and remote control cars in Part 3.

Oh of course they will or make it dlc. So don't kill yourself grinding for levels or leveling up your materia it's all going to be reset in part 3.

I mean i dont get why so many people are angry you dont keep your items and levels...the equipment and items were just to help players progress the story they were in no way canon. If you look at it from the characters POV they technically didnt lose anything...i cant imagine Cloud setting aside his Buster Sword just because he found a better weapon in Midgar and for that to actually effect the story. I imagine the same will happen in the next game...nothing we do in Rebirth will be detrimental to the story so we will lose everything or they go with the time skip route and use that as a way to reset power levels who knows...

Losing progress sucks.... the game is split in 3 parts, you go and play part 2 and everything you worked hard to get is gone (that weapons you like? gone!, that materia you played 100hours to max out? GONE!) I'm currently playing chapter selection from remake and i was thinking about max out every materia, then i came here to know if save file and items would tranfer, and nope... huge disapointment. thats why people are angry, because losing progress do suck a lot.

@@emotionalsupport part 2, continuing after part 1, with no progress being tranfered on items and gears. I truly think you are the one being the 'ignorant', just because you don't want to see any reason whatsoever, even when you clearly "dont get why so many people are angry", and you don't want to know why, you just want to bash on people that didnt like that. This matter is NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL, but it does get players a bit mad about it when you can't tranfer save and items and gears (this is losing progress, doesnt matter if you cant perceive this as such), because this is a continuation of part 1 from a old game been remade, split into 3 games with NO save tranfer.

In short... This is not a game in chapters, this is 3+ games with multiple DLCs planned to extract the maximum income from desperate players that either never played the original game or wanted to revive the memories of the original game. Nah... Not playing any of those.

This made me so mad. All that time grinding was for nothing. When I played as a kid you could grind and then wreck the enemies. This was such a stupid move.

Not working for me. PS5 version of FF7 Remake/Intergrade. Completed both and have downloaded saves for both? I thought you get a survival pack once you start the full The Rebirth game? Completed demo and nothing there either. I literally have nothing for both demo or Remake/Intergrade saves

So if don't want the patch that has the censorship in it can't get the bonuses then. Guess I'll play through first and then do it a 2nd time for the bonuses.

Question when you do the save data bonuses do you have to have rebirth downloaded for it to count them? I just started streaming the game cause it's a huge game to download

what a load. why didn't they fix it so everything rolled over into rebirth? all the gil all the items the weapons the matiria the levels the limit breaks every thing gone. i played thru remake 3 times starting at chapter 1 blowing thru allmost all the boss fights with ease. now i find out that nothing rolls over into rebirth excuse me if i find that a downer. if not the levels at least everything else

I started at lvl 25, all my remake weapons are in Johnny's seaside inn.. I am still missing weapons which I guess come from crisis core... This didn't clarify shit

Starting with how Remake turned a 2 to 4 hour portion of the game, which you leave at around level 10 to 20 into a full fledged 60+ hour romp where by the end of it you are level 50 to max level. In the original, Disc 1 ends at Aerith's death. Do you have any idea how far away that is? And you expect us to just have a remake part 2 even entertain us starting the game with our END GAME LEVEL 99 shit for the next 60+ hours???? Fuck off with your fake ass crying. Of course it wasn't going to happen. Get with the program or get off the fucking ride. The original is still there and still relevant so be happy about that.
