Agreed. Your reaction pretty much mirrored mine, but then I got hit with a sudden realization of "This isn't even the final boss, what the fuck even is that going to look like?!"

@33:50 A nice little callback to Louisoix's last stand against Bahamut in FFXIV. This is probably one of the most badass sequences of all Eikon fights in FFXVI. FFXVI is a dark horse for this year's GOTY.

I think the best part here is that Bahamuts fall into madness has pretty much been going on since the very start of the game if you think about it. Ever since annabelles betrayal of Rosalia this has been going on

We all know its gonna be Zelda the GOTY of this year (which its honestly just a DLC of the first one in my opinion) but yeah, this its my GOTY aswell.

Should win best voice actor (Clive) and best music at the very least. I think it's a front runner. But for the two reasons aforementioned should win it Goty because what ffxvi does well, it does incredibly. Peak gaming experience and after all, isn't that what matters?

Seriously something is wrong with people if they do not chooce ff16 as GOTY. 😂 This fight is the absolute Peak of gaming. No game touches this kind of Hype! Not even close! I'm almost sure Soken made this music and just said to the team and yoshi P to make an eikon battle fitting for the music. And they had to scratch their heads for about a momth before even trying it. 😂 and then just unplugged ALL of the mental barriers and just went fucking Nuts

Dude, ff16 is an amazing/mindblowing game! There is no doubt about it, but zelda TOTK will earn the title this year, its way far beyond quality over any game from 2023. IF YOU DID PLAY, you must agree. Cheers

@victortommaz7221 that's purely subjective, mate. I, for one, enjoyed FF16 more than TOTK. TOTK is definitely an amazing game but I prefer FF16 just that little bit more

That’s squares fault though. Had they made this game available to all it surely would have beat even Spider-Man 2 making it an exclusive was a bad move. I’m playing it now and it’s one of the best games I’ve played in the past 2 years

The combination of emotion, music and theatrics in the fight are almost overwhelming! When ifrit and Phoenix and the choir combine!! Holy moly!!

I imagine the people back on the surface having the absolute best lightshow of their lives. Sadly enough 1 stray gigaflare ends that amusement very fast

Tbh I don’t expect every fight to surpass the last, that’s just me though Like the Barnabas fight after this was more of a clash of ideologies rather than an actual full scale battle whcih makes sense considering Barnabas is the polar opposite to Clive in terms of their mindset I thought the ultima fight was pretty nuts too, I’d say just below the bahamut fight but it’s soo memorable because of all of Clive’s friends cheering him on that made me a little emotional

@@jamrah8713 I mean I was feeling out of it probably because of the story moments towards the end. I was a little disappointed with how things played out. The Barnabas fight was good, but I don't care about the ideologies because I think Barnabas is a boring character who had way more potential (I thought that based on trailers and previous cutscenes in the game). The final boss was still really good, but I feel that the final boss should always be the best fight in any game.

tbh i would be a bit dissapointed if they didnt go as hard with this fight since you know Bahamut is basicly the strongest summon in franchise so i think they pretty much had to go this hard, altho i was a bit dissapointed with Barnabas boss fight i feel like they used it almost as a "alright lets calm down a bit" after this fight

Idk what it was about this fight, usually I'm decent at timing my dodges (thanks to from soft and monster hunter) but man... I had the hardest time getting it down here 😅

I don’t know why but after bahamut, bosses seems garbage, like Odin is just…. Not memorable. This fight is easily the best experience so far.

I actually have to disagree, I really liked Odin and what it represented to Clive and the final boss was super well done too. However I think Bahamut is the best fight in the game, but the rest aren't garbage.

I think none other than maybe the final sequence of battles have the spectacle this fight has. Odin is still good IMO but its hard to top a fusion battle happening in space against a sterioded Bahamut.

After watching countless reaction videos to this fight.... just seems your reactions aren't genuine. Like you practiced this fight. Watching your face during the fight it looks like your concentrating on a point in the fight to insert a comment. Maby I'm being too critical but it just doesn't seem like a true blind reaction to me.

I streamed this live on twitch (like all of the gameplay I've uploaded on YT for the game) on a session that lasted almost 3 hours. The vod should still be up if you care to check it for whatever reason, but one thing I pride myself in is being my genuine self whenever I do these. Even the thumbnail picture is from a moment within the video, I get that picture from any particular moment that stands out, it's not scripted, it's not practiced, it's just me being me. I mean, I messed up my dodges so many times! Why would I practice just to mess up? Lol Don't know what else to tell you.

Not everyone will have a "OMG WHAT IS THIS FIGHT?!? ALDFGJAL;ERHGIJAEB!" reaction. I know when I did this fight I was like in stunned disbelief, eyes wide, and quietly going 'Oh my god!' but the excitement/hype clearly in my voice. I could tell he was trying to focus on the fight but also look at everything that was going on b/c it's just that visually appealing of a game and he wants to try to take in the full picture. If anything, I think some of the more hyper reaction videos are overhyped imo.
