As bad as 15 was, Leviathan did get a pretty nice feature. So I'm guessing that's why. But Alexander??? Yeah... that would have been glorious.

Joshua talks about there being a "Leviathan Lost" in one of the tomes which he mentions in the main story. Let's hope it may come in future.

Bahamut is the Eikon of light so no need for Alexander. Odin is the Eikon of darkness, so no Diabolos. Leviathan does exist somewhere.

No. He takes away the full powers of the dominants. In the final battle when clive is using their powers against Ultima in the cutscenes you literally hear the dominants inside of him encouraging him. They all refer to him as "my child" since he is the child of prophecy capable of wielding multiple eikons at once. He is the only human capable of doing that. Ultima did that as well but he isn't human. In the final battle in the cutscenes depending on which eikon ability clive whips out, that respective eikon will talk to clive. For instance when he uses bahamut, bahamut cheer for clive saying "that the way my boy" and when you use shivas ice she responds from within saying stuff like "good job my child". All those dialogues from the eikons inside him pretty much confirms he has their full powers. He just doesn't transform into their true forms since he is better at using ifrits true form since thats his original eikon. Plus not all the dominants could freely turn into their full eikon forms. For instance benedikta could only use her hybrid form. She had to completely snap to draw out Garuda. Hugo was only able to use titan against after clive stole his powers because he absorbed power from a mother crystal which gave him enough strength to create a copy of titans abilities. He was literally powerless after clive snatched his abilities. Same goes for benedikta. She was only able to transform into her full Garuda form after having her powers taken because she snapped and absorbed all the aether in the area allowing her to mimic her Garuda powers similar to what Hugo did. Sleipnir explains why benedikta was able to go into her Garuda form even after having her powers stolen when Hugo loses titan. She had to absorb the aether in the area to mimic garudas powers. The only exception to this was Dion. He is the only one that was still able to use his bahamut abilities even after clive stole his power. Jill couldn't use Shiva anymore after clive took it from her (she allows him to). That's why she doesn't join the final battle because she is powerless now. The only 3 remaining dominants, phoenix, ifrit and bahamut are the only ones that went to fight.

Yeah. Not to mention he had the most broken weapon out of all the eikon. He could summon a weapon that can "cut through the fabric of creation itself" as stated by clive. He has the most versatile abilities. He is humanoid allowing him to fight like a knight, has a flying horse, has protective armor, has two broken ass weapons that can cut reality itself, he can create servants etc.

Even in even in xenoblade chronicles 3 there versions of summons are called ouroboros Basically, they act as your ultimate, but they're not as big as summons from the final fantasy series. Buthey work very similar except they're basically mecha sized summons but have two people turn into there ouroboros forms. It's also know as interlink

I think FFVII Remake released in 2020 is not too bad if I had to suggest a FF game for the PS4. just keep in mind that that there's a part 2 coming soon so if you aren't the patient type and want an ending to a game then this might not be for you. the combat is in real-time instead of turn based. controls are pretty responsive and tight. there should be around 30-40 hours worth of content depending on how you play. It's not an open-world however, you're limited to specific areas, which could be a con ... but to me sometimes a semi-open world is just enough. Not every game needs to be open world littered with busy work, if you know what I mean.

@@kangkopi1064 if you’re looking for a complete story and you’re okay with turn based I would recommend Final Fantasy 9. It doesn’t stray far from the core traits of an FF game. But it also isn’t as graphically poor as some of the other major installments in the franchise like FF6 and FF7. But yeah if you want an action game then definitely go give FF7 Remake a try.

I really really really loved FFXV. Some FF purists hate it, but I think the flashy combat is a ton of fun, the summons are cool, and the story of brotherhood is something special

I doubt it simply because if you notice, each dominant represents an element. Shiva is the water eikon already. It’s Especially unlikely since Phoenix and Ifrit both being Fire Eikons is a plot point in the game. They’d have to address it narratively

Yeah. There's probably gonna be a dlc to expand and give us a solid ending. We know Joshua somehow survives since the book from the future is written by him and clive probably survives as well since the entire arc just before the final boss battle is clive going around promising Jill and torgal that he'd return safely to her and promising Joshua's follower and the hideout nurse that he'd bring back Joshua in one piece. Not to mention Jill making one final prayer to metia just after clive flies away on bahamut. The red moon disappearing and the sun rising almost immediately after was probably a sign that Jill's wish was granted and she knows clive is alive which is why she stops crying. Not to mention the final song in that scene with Jill is literally a song about a girl reuniting with her lover. If there's a dlc it will probably be based around Jill and some new characters and the hideout members going to find clive. I'm curious how Joshua survives though. He wrote the book from the future so he manages to survive unless clive has a kid when he returns and names him after Joshua hence the books author having the same first and last name as Joshua.

Most definitely ... hopefully it'll be releasing in 2024.

Final Fantasy does not have a set standard. They go for something new and bold each time. XV you needed a pact. In VII it was materia. XVI uses a different approach but still allows a summon to be used which still follows the basic format. You could not use them at all till the third instalment of this franchise. I bet people said that summons were not okay back then as well.
