Flare (Byte), Megaflare (Megabyte), Gigaflare (Gigabyte), Terraflare (Terabyte), and then it skips Petabyte and Exabyte to get Zettaflare (Zettabyte). Petaflare and Exaflare would be weaker than Zettaflare. Yotta, Bronto, and Geopbytes are larger than Zettabytes, so a theoretical Geopflare would probably just erase reality, lol

Strongest Bahamut iteration ever due to ZettaFlare alone. If we exclude that one Final Fantasy game (FF Brave Exvius) where Bahamut is able to nuke the entire solar system and Phoenix is able to go to outer space, dive into the sun, absorb its energy and becoming the new star Phoenix.

XIV's Bahamut sends out megaflares with every flap of its wings and demolishes the continent of Eorzea over the course of less than a minute before Louisoix manages to put a stop to it. XV's is a world-ending plot device similar to VII's Meteor, though only called "Teraflare." VII itself features Bahamut-ZERO that sends a nuclear-bomb-equivelant orbital strike that is comparable to XVI's Zetaflare in spite of it also 'only' being called Teraflare.

I thought the exact same thing! Given the Wings of Light, Gigaflare having a similar color and effect to Strike Freedom's chest positron canon, and the Satellites functioning like the Dragoons I wouldnt be surprised if it was the primary inspiration.

Except Donald's Zettaflare killed him immediately when he used it against Terra/Xehanort in KH3. Meanwhile FF16 Bahamut can keep going even after using a Zettaflare that can burn the entire world, so Donald Duck still loses.

@@ahmadrisyad1953 Which is kinda strange, considering you can actually LOSE in a cinematic cutscene during Phoenix vs Ifrit battle and have to redo. I guess it's because unlike Golden Bahamut who cast its ZettaFlare during the cutscene, Ifrit on the other hand cast its Hellfire during gameplay, and will launch the giant fire ball in cinematic cutscene whether the player Phoenix is able to deplete Ifrit's HP in time or not.

on FF mode you can lose and theres new animations and cinematics

Donald has nothing on Bahamut, 14 Bahamut literally reshape a continent using only Mega, and Donald Zeta didn't truly kill or even damage Terra-Xehanort.

Not even close since he needed to absorb aether from a mothecrystal, whereas Donald Duck just channel his anger toward Sora for asking heal from him despite being a Black Mage.

@@wndy2717 just because they use the same spell doesn't mean the spell has the same level of power when cast by them. ffxiv bahamuth can destroy the world with teraflare, but teraflare in other games can't do that. it's the user that makes the difference not the spell.
