It's 4.30pm, it's getting dark outside....I've decided to basically call it a day, get cosy and snuggle up and listen to Jeannie. This was wonderful, Jeannie! You're beautiful with and without makeup. I'm a more "mature" lady so this was super helpful to see! You gave me some nice tips to do around the eyes. When I was little, I remember sitting on the toilet watching my mom do her makeup. It was mesmerizing. Maybe that was my first experience with ASMR?! Still gorgeous!! This rocketed me back to my childhood, watching my mom do her makeup and hair getting ready to go out. This was much better though because my mom always went out and while watching her get ready gave me asmr, there was also a sadness and anxiety. (I was never really important to her, if she could've gone out every night she would have). Plus she smoked like a chimney and drenched herself in vanilla perfumes, both smells i have a hatred for 😅. Anyways, this was 10x better, it's like a back rub when you're trying to go to sleep. Amazing. Love from me to you 💜

I actually blow my hair dryer onto my regular eyelash curler, check it by bringing close to the cheek, make sure it isn't too hot but needs to be warm enough to curl the lashes. And then curl them. Works amazing. But when the lashes are warm, mascara will dry faster than usual so you might have to work faster.

This was such a fun video, Jeannie. I always loved watching my mom get ready as I was growing up; this gave echoes of that. I appreciate you stepping outside your comfort zone to show this intimate look at you. I’ve got two fragrances that I love and maybe you’d like to put on your husband! This was like the longer, more natural and modern update to another ASMR experiences, Donna Mills' makeup tutorial VHS (I think), "The Eyes Have It". Clips of it circulated a lot on KZfaq several many years ago, and it was such primo ASMR: soft-speaking, make-up and brush sounds, and most importantly, the voice. You share a certain precise, deliberate, elegant diction that you don't hear much these days. I really enjoyed this, which captured the same grade A ASMR qualities while updating it and being free from some of the things that have inevitably dated/turned comical in the Donna Mills video.

Jeannie I love your videos because of all the reasons mentioned in your christmas reveal of course. Your warmth and graciousness radiates through the screen. However, consider turning that warmth and compassion towards yourself. your face is BEAUTIFUL and RADIANT, and you have plump and youthful skin. You look so young, yet in a few of your videos you've mentioned this insecurity. I would love to see a positive affirmation or scripting video in the future! Happy Thursday Jeannie

Thank you so much! I actually do have some positive affirmation videos. I’m not insecure, per se. I just know how dry and wrinkly it can look, so I try my best to work with that. Just honest. 😁

I definitely think heating up your lash curler with a lighter is much easier and quicker than that heated one. Preferably I like to apply mascara, heat up my curler a bit, then curl the lashes. Not once it’s dry though because then your lashes may get stuck to the curler which isn’t good. And thanks for showing that tinted moisturizer, I’m definitely going to need to try that.
