I live in Texas in the U.S and I ride a dual sport motorcycle I’m 54 and I’m making plans to start doing long adventure road trips. Thank you, and I have to admit... it was pretty fantastic to spend time on the road again like this. Easy to forget how much it means when you do it all the time, but stay away for a couple of months and you understand that this is so much more than just a hobby

So many of my regular followers "demand" episodes as well, so I will try to edit it like a full video, but release episodes as I go on and make enough content for it. But it all will be a "full movie" when it's done. Hope that is fine 🎥

Also, some of those roads and places brings me back memories (1'58", after Stegastein, I camped on that small caravan park near the corner because the road was closed at 1am). Good to see you back !! Your footage was great love the old houses on the hills wow and your footage were the water and fishing buildings the glare off the water was unreal or houses can't wait for more . I have maybe 3 weeks left to ride myself before the frost and heavy rains have fun enjoy !!!!

Great video Thomas. You don't have to say much for it to be good. I like how you can just set up camp in a rest spot at the side of the road. You'd probably wake up in a set of hand cuffs....or maybe bear food here if you did that. Looks like our winter is coming along now. 😁

Thank you Shayne! I always struggle to know how much I should talk or how little. Sometimes I feel like there can be to much music and scenery? that I should add more of a verbal story into it all. But somehow I feel like a lot of the trip is what you make it to yourself. Let you as a viewer choose the story, not me telling you. Still has a lot to learn around this aspect of video making. Yeah, this is so damn nice over here in Scandinavia. The right to roam. Still feel like we have a little bit of freedom left. Yeah, winter is here as well. so not much biking going on before next year. Cheers bud!

I will never quit Motorcycling, but I will add some other adventures because the motorcycle season up here is only 6 months (give or take) I just hope that this will not scare the motorcycle people away 🔥

Yeah, but some of the season just washed away.Like there was so many roads that just was flooded or closed. Made so much of the season not work.

@@tshansen first of all , if something happen your on ur own at all and in wilderness or far away from civilization especially when theres issues with ur bike can be disturbing, also i noticed last year in sweden i saw alot wild animals norway also has , with 2 person personally gives me a better feeling hanging in my hammock or tent. Being alone for a longer time isnt the problem for me, i would say i love it, but still with someone else makes me feel better so far away from home. Never done such a big trip alone yet.

Thank you mate. I have always been clear that I don't want my channel to be about payed commercials or products. But giving a little bit back to the companies that support you is fair and my pleasure. Then to include this so it does not feel wrong for the viewer or take away from the experience is a little bit difficult. I'm glad to hear this was not to much or felt pushy. Yiiihhaaaaa, just when I needed it, you uploaded a new vid showing us the best views of motorcycling through Norway👌 I like that part of Norge, all the way down to Fagernes as well. The lower sun has a great effect on the lighting in de video, you can tell autumn is there. Enjoy your trip Thomas😃🔥👍

Hahaha, thank you Ricard 🙌🏻 The west and middle part of the south Norway is incredible. Even I, who live here get use to it, or kinda forget how nice it is until I ride there again. Aurlandsfjellet is just such a nice mountain pass. The Autumn is here, and we even get snow in the mountains already. Looks like there won't be much motorcycle riding left this year, but I'm not complaining this year. More time to travel in the new camper 🤩

If you press the cog wheel on the video then to texting or subtitles, press automatic (English) and then, do it again but now you will get the option, translate automatically and you can choose wich country you want? ok friend Problem solved 50% lol On the computer I can do what you said. But I have a big TV just to watch KZfaq (your videos are absurdly beautiful, congratulations).. so... on TV doing the same thing, I looked a lot and couldn't, For now I'm going to transmit from the laptop to the TV (it loses quality, but...) until I see a solution. If I can do it on a laptop, why not on TV? lol Well... thanks for now. Looking forward to this series! Outstanding quality as we have come to expect from you. I took a similar route earlier this summer. Curious to see where you ended up in Latvia. I really hope you found some of the treasures this country has in store. The sandy forests was really not crowded when i went. Met only three other riders total in Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.

Thank you Pål. I'm trying to be consistent and learn new things for each production. And keeping the quality high is one of the aspects I really enjoy about this. We only explored some of the local areas around Ventspils, because there is where the event was taking place. But we both agree that we have to go back and see much more of this country at a later time. Really impressed by the culture and people over there.

@@tshansen That's good news, Thomas. We have a wonderful autumn, and usually we can ride in November and December - depending on the salt on roads getting towards the tracks. It's trickier in January and February, this year even in March - too much salt. Happy days, Günter

Your videos are like a Masters class in video production! I always learn a lot, but often wonder why I even post my own 😆 For me (and I'm sure for you too!!) it's the fun of being creative and sharing my experiences on the bikes.....I just wish it wasn't taking me so long to even get remotely close to where you are. Don't get me wrong, there's no comparison, but you give us all hope that just maybe we can get as good as you......someday!

Well, thank you so much for the nice compliment 👏🏻🤩 i sound like a broken record, but i really do appreciate it. When it comes to video production it comes down to practise and the willingness to learn from earlier videos. Always try to learn something new, always be self critical and rewatch your own work to see what you did “wrong” before. Just take a look at my first videos. It was absolutely rubbish compared to what i make today. But the better you get at editing, the better you train yourself to what to look for when shooting, how to make a story with the footage and just what works and what does not work. It takes time and baby steps each week. But you have to be willing to learn and put in insane amount of hours. Not everyone has that luxury. ☺️ Everyone can get to my level and far better than that if they want. Just spend time at it. 🔥

@@tshansen hadde nå bare en tur til Bergen med fruen og kofferter i sommer, men det er er en fryd å dra på tur med tigeren. Ellers er min sesong 12 måneder uansett 😃. Sommeren passer alt for fort, før en vet ordet av det så fryser det is på tiger fronten og visiret. Ser frem til å se det du kommer med sammen med svensken☕🇳🇴

I really don't get adventure bikes. Have had 2 myself and they are the SUV of bikes. Can't do roads very well. Can't do gravel very well. They do both but badly. Would rather have e.g. a Kawasaki 1000SX for long distance or a KTM Freeride for off road. Don't need a special bike for gravel. Pirelli MT-60 would do just fine on a road bike there. But whatever floats your boat. I love Norway. Such amazing roads and scenery. Nice video. Keep it coming :)

Well, i can agree to some of your statements, but i think an Adventure bike can do road travel really good. And it does gravel as well great, The one thing that the adventure bikes does better than any other bike on the market…. Hold luggage in a great way without loosing to much feel. No other bike can do that as good as an adventure bike in my opinion 🔥 But, if i had the money for it. I would have 4 bikes One for each surface and use case 😂 Cheers brother. Glad you enjoyed it. @@tshansen Well for packing they are great indeed. But a KTM 250 is amazing on gravel. So light and feles like it has no limits to the grip. Go try an MT-09 on road. It's such a blast. I thought my AT 750 corned well but it doesn't. But if you wan't to do it all I suppose there is no other option than an adv bike if it's just one bike. :) The production on your video is fantastic. Fun to watch. Coming back for more.

Yeah, I have seen rapports about this here as well. We may se a shift in extreme weather the next couple of years. Like now, we already have snow in Norway. That is way earlier than any years before.

Thank you Niels 🔥 That is one thing I try to focus a lot on... to show angles and places from my perspective, so if you ride there yourself, you can recognise the area and views I have captured. So far I have not mixed any of my personal life into my video workflow on KZfaq, but I get a lot of request about it. I have thought about it many times, but never found the "right" way to do so (if that makes sense?) So you're in the fireservice as well 👏🏻 What country are you from? NL?
