what's the deal with all of those s.o.s and beacon features.. I've never understood it's function for the general public. But hey, I'm biased since I make and sell my one bike lights :D It looks nice and I like the idea of supporting the local companies so thumbs up for that (Y)

Since I work as a rescue leader and travel in difficult terrain to rescue people who has injured themself or just are stuck and can't get down. I can't begin to tell you how valuable this functions is to alert the rescue chopper or us who try to find you in the terrain. Trust me, it is there for a good reason. A lot of people use headlamps like this when they trail run or skiing in the mountains (in the dark) Yeah, I always try to support local brands. Cheers mate

you use the Mosko Basilisk, right? Does that also have the option to put the armour in the jacket? That would leave you with the same set up as your Klim suit of course, so without using your armour shirt. But can you / i insert armour into the mosko Basilisk jacket and pants? thanks!
@tshansen
@tshansen 3 күн бұрын
Hello mate, no, the version I got does not have the option to put in armor. But the new updated Basilisk IR have integrated armor you can choose to leave in or take out, depending on your needs. Both pants and jacket. Same with the Adventure Suit they released this year called Boundary IR

Great video. I have ordered the action 3 in 2024 as a B roll cam to compliment the Ozmo 4. I was able to get a new one off of Amazon for $194.00 U.S. which I think is an absolute steal considering the quality of the action cam.

Hello mate... summer season in Norway has been, how could I put it. Terrible, everything from heat wave to snow in the mountains (in June) or should we say just like normal? I had a motorcycle trip in may (I'm editing on now) and right after may that was full of work and trips, I had my vacation (going up North to Lofoten) but I have not started edit on that trip yet. So there will be some videos coming, but not sure when I will be finished editing them yet.

Aside from the size of the bike on a multi day dual sport/ADV ride on that 50/50 tire i.e. that 1200 GSA versus a WR250R, there's also the environment of the ride once off the slab: lots of mud, sand and loose dirt or is it mostly hard packed national forest roads and logging roads with buildups of gravel in the corners and the middle. Here in the mountains around Yellowstone and Glacier national parks, there isn't much mud and sand but you do need a sure footed front tire that suddenly slip out on you on those hard dirt road corners covered in a film of grit or with a layer of gravel on top. Highway riding within the speed limit, you can have a sporty and predictable ride with pretty much any tire. I'm willing to consider giving these a go instead of another set of Heidenau K60 scouts if they're available in the sizes to fit my WR250R. BTW, I'm told that Mitas is the current embodiment of Telleborg who most of us considered made the most kick ass motocross tires back in the 1970's...
@tshansen
@tshansen 21 күн бұрын
You should try them, I think you will like them a lot. I know a lot of people change from the K60 to the Mitas. Yes, Mitas bought the Trelleborg company, but I'm not sure if there is anything left of that today.
