Finding ITCHOO - Winter Trek to a Remote Village in Ladakh

Itchoo is one of the most isolated villages in the Kargil district of Ladakh (India). It is reachable only by a 10km trek across steep mountain trails which are buried by snow and avalanches during the winter months. And the only way to access Itcho in winter is by walking on the frozen Phu Lungma stream, making it a Chadar trek experience like no other.
This is a behind the scenes look at my short film about Itcho - 'A Village in Search of a Road'. Please watch it if you haven't already.

In menaka case of 1978 Supreme court declared following rights as part of article 21 : 1. Right to electricity 2. Right to health 3. Right to shelter 4. Right to livelihood The guy isn't asking for something luxurious. He is asking for his fundamental rights. Govt. should intervene as much and as soon as possible.

Ap na real mei us village ko explore kiya jahang pa local administration jana sa dar jata hai aur koi Kargil or UT ladakh ka govt official wahang Nahi ponchta hai sirf Ichoo Ka naam leka shargandik jahang tak road hai wahang sa wapas ata hai aur agar koi Solar light yah koi aur funds distribute karna ho toh locals logon ko hi shargandik jahang Tak road hai wahang tak bhulata hai aur ap toh winter Season mei gaya aur winter mei toh ladakh ka locals us village mei jana ka Nahi sochta hai aur locals Media toh sochta hi nahi hoga ki Ichoo jaka wahang ka logon ka problems ko highlight Kare. Kudos to your work bro you are one of the example of true & honest journalist hats off to ypu
