I find my strength in God. Through prayer and gratitude, I recognize that God is and has always been there with me. Making a gratitude list for everything I've already been through, knowing that with God by my side, everything is a blessing in disguise. Thank you, Jay. As always, you are an amazing soul. 💖🌈😘

1) It is OK to be the way you feel, accept it, honour it; 2) Look for examples in the human history; 3) Change the story you tell yourself; 4) Find an uplifting community; 5) Focus on what you can learn from the situation; 6) Be that change, embody that change . Thank you Jay for those points!

I look at it as a lesson or an experience I need to grow to use or share in the future. I give it to God and then spend time with friends who love me.

-Don't fight the feelings stewing up. Feel it out. -During my positive moments I have jacked up a list of items that I am grateful for in my journal along with other motivating concepts. When I feel distressed, I read these out loud and repeatedly. - I pretend that someone else has the burden that I am having, and I give out advise to that "person" hence giving myself wise solutions.

I've experienced many challenges in my life and have always been able to over come them. I believe in having faith and I try to tell myself that it's happening for a reason. It's a learning experience and it's helping me to grow. It's also brought me closer to god and I make it a point to listen to inspirational videos and podcasts daily.

In difficult times , just remember these three things . 1.) The law of relativity - just remember when you think you had it bad or your life is in a difficult situation , there's always someone out there with more problems, fewer solutions (also some people just died that same moment you felt like your life sucked) 2.) Use that energy on something productive towards your career and happiness it can be anything from art, music , film , school , fitness, relationships anything! Just make sure you take a step towards your future! For me personally I use that energy towards working out and learning astrology and life advice from all kinds of youtubers ( such as jay shetty, ralph smart, elliot hulse, etc. )since my dream is to be a life coach ! 3.) Realize that all pain is literally an illusion created by society, its all mental if its not harming you physically it literally doesnt exist ! So just don't worry about it cause its self inflicted in that case! Hope someone can read this but more importantly hopefully someone can apply this! Peace for all

In difficult and in good times I focus on my morning routine. Consistently focus on the abundance in my life. I wake up at 515am every day and do the following: 1. Read - Normally a self help, business, or book by a great leader 2. Affirmations - I keep a daily affirmations journal 3. Meditation - I mix it up and do guided meditations to clear out negativity and focus on prosperity and abundance 4. Visualization - I visualize my future and me overcoming any and all obstacles 5. Journaling - I keep a daily journal that I write in every morning 6. Exercise - Consists of CrossFit, running, and yoga (CrossFit MWF, running 3-4 miles Tues/Thurs, and yoga on Sat/Sun) I started this 3 years ago and it has transformed my life in remarkable ways. I'm calmer, more at ease, and can see the change in all of my relationships. Staying grounded with this routine helps me face difficulty with a lot more ease than I had done in the past. Keep up the great work Jay!! I love your work!!

Recently everything in my life was falling apart after been told the cancer had returned, I was in a financial “tsunami”, problems with the benefits which were causing so much stress and affecting my health emotionally, (I thought of committing subside)...later diagnosed with depression...after long term sleep deprivation due to all that was happening, I still had the will to be here, to be alive so decided to look for something that would work for me and that was disconnecting from all belief systems, I was alone, and the only one who could help was myself so I decided to take responsibility for everything that was happening. I’ve asked myself what is in my power to change and what is that is controlled by others? Some days I would put music and dance on my room for hours while doing other things. I started following and facing each problem and within days some of the issues I had were been sorted... I’ve learned with this I have to change in order to keep the cancer away. So dancing, disconnecting with certain beliefs and taking responsibility for all acts that we can control, get family support and love yourself. I have to say disconnecting from friendships who are not beneficial, even if that means not having friends anymore it’s a blessing that many don’t understand...

August 10th 2017 I let go of everything. Literally everything. April 2017 my bestfriend died at age 32. May 2017 I broke my hand and required surgery. June 2017 I went through a breakup. August 2017 i could no longer afford my apartment. I let go of everything. Literally. I didnt know what to do. I knew i couldnt do the "same old thing" so i atarted researching relationships, from there i found my faith, then i found impact therory, from there i found Jay Shetty, from there i found Mel robbins, tony robbins, eric thomas, all these motivational speakers. From there i found my passion. I found strength. It takes time. Just like a job. Put hours in and get paid. Put hours into your life you will be paid.

“What defines us as humans is how we react to situations rather than the situations that defines us”. Therefore I see difficult situations as an opportunity to overcome the bad and become better and better by learning from my mistakes and learning from them:

In difficult times I use the Alan Watts method of “don’t let your left hand know what the right is doing.” There is a way to secretly work yourself out of a struggle without knowing you’re doing it. I am also a record Collector! (I’ve got a few of those records on the wall behind this fellow). The music of Popol Vuh has been a GREAT source of comfort for me.

I tell myself, that it's just this one day after which I will again have a happy day. It's just this one day, and I need to pass this day like a brave girl. Also keeping myself busy with work or friends helps me a lot during tough days, because it subconsciously makes me forget what I was going through. Staying alone in my room is a big NO during such days.
@jasonlendrose4 жыл бұрын
I'm trying that, but am in the process of working with someone I still very much love, to reconnect. So its day to day and its rough, but I know if we can get through this intial phase we can establish that connection and it will have been worth the "worry". We both still have strong feelings for each other even years later after no contact. But it is certainly stressing when other areas of your life are imposing needless addtional stresses and anxiety into your life.
@lovezenbliss84875 жыл бұрын
How do I feel? I'm anxious and on edge. I feel lonely, used and unloved. I am unfulfilled, but afraid or even too lazy to go after my dreams. I sell my dreams short and I view myself as less than. How do I want to feel? I will have peace of mind and spirit. I will live in my passion. I will recognize my light. I will not settle. Period. What can I learn? I will learn how to love myself better. To talk to myself lovingly. To recognize and understand my worth. I will find my voice. What can I do? More than what I'm doing currently. I will continue listening to motivational speeches. I will read books to broaden my views. I will write down my goals like a blueprint. I will stop being afraid.

Good presentation specially for those who has no knowledge of God how i overcome my darkest time was through prayer because I have a lot of experience with my lord and savior I dont know what i will do without him and i have learn so much through my trial that has change my life completely i am more loving and caring and I find out that my trials is a blessing in disguise because of what i went through now the lord is using me to help others and its exciting the best way to overcome is to help someone else with their problem and you dont have time to dwell on your own keep up the good work brother i really love the quote from Martin Luther king, knowledge is power if he overcame so can we and God is his wisdom will never let give us more than we can bear that promise has keep me going all the time

I sit there, breath and observe, at some point i start to feel like im part of something bigger than myself and there is not an "I am" anymore, it is liberating, kind of a magic moment. Try to memorize those moments, feeling, the light, etc to replay the experience in my mind when need it. I also listen inspirational audiobooks when commuting and keep telling myself "everything pass, the good and the bad, nothing is forever and this will also go away"

What I do during my tough times is find answers. Break down the problem. Understand what exactly is hurting me. And have a conversation with myself. For that I choose silence, meditation...connect with the deep voice within. We always have answers. Connect with the guide within. If it still doesn't help, listen, observe, read...from noble wise people. You will always find something that help you going.

I’m 38 years old. I have dealt and carried the baggage of my broken childhood of horrible sexual abuse throughout my life. Many therapists and I have finally got to the point that I’m strong and a survivor. I have been able to face myself and bad choices that I have made in my life. I’m resilient and when I came to realize that I was choosing to live in my past and be that abused child that I lived in a state of survival. What made me now be able to walk through the darkness and to release the anger and the hate was to discover love, humbling and unconditional love. To live in the past that damaged me as a innocent child I had to become a forgiving adult. The anger I was holding was killing me physically and mentally but the ability to love from the heart has given me the ability to not fear forward and trust the source to help someone else.

For me, finding something within myself to forgive others who've treated me terribly and move on, had been nonexistant. But after my son passed away last year, I've been more empathetic and forgiving. It's taken time but I'm starting to find a good balance.

I look back at hard times in the past, what I learned and how I got through them. First, I allow myself to feel those negative feelings. Then I’ll meditate, rely on friends and family, intense exercise and force myself to do the things I enjoy. Eventually the hard times pass and I’m a stronger person on the other side.

How I find strength in difficult times is I seem to have someone who usually needs a friend to talk to and once I hear about their problem, it makes my problems seem even less important and after helping them through their problem, I seem to find the solution to my own. This is just how I usually work through my issues. Or, I will borrow a friend's ear and talking through my issues usually work. Putting aside your problems for someone else's problems can sometimes make you realize that your answer was right in front of you the whole time but frustrations were preventing you from finding it. I enjoy helping others and I guess that's why I enjoy your videos so much. Very powerful messages and they are very uplifting messages too. Thank you.

I make a list of goals of where I want to be instead of in those difficult times. What is my end goal? What are the steps I can take to extricate myself from this difficulty, emotional pain, financial hardship, etc. Then I actively progress through those steps. This gives me a sense of being in control of my destiny and NOT a victim. I embrace the pain of the challenge, but don't let it deactivate the process.

I only know one thing that life without struggles is not what we call life. Success taste better when we struggle and face our challanges. I always think that everything happens for a good cause. Not now but surely ur bad days will turn out into good days but all it need is patience. So whatever struggle you through just think that everything happens for a good cause and it is important because this make us learn a lot how to deal with problems.

I let whatever is overwhelming me or hurting, to completely take over me like a wave. Because I allow it, I know that it is a moment that will pass but in order to overcome it, I need to go through it wholeheartedly. Then, I sit with it. I speak to close friends and then I spend time by myself trusting that I know myself enough to know that I will get myself through this time. Currently going through a separation, and albeit the most difficult time I’m going through, I know I’m going to learn so much from this that will make me a better human. And I will never walk out of something without taking something learned from it. And that feeling of being truly at peace with yourself, is worth ALL the down time to get there no matter how long it takes. And it is a beautiful journey no matter how much mud you go through.

During hardship, I pray to God and believe that God will protect me from all negative energy and fill me with positive energy. Getting required help. Do suryanamaskar to balance energy in myself. Getting exposed to sun. Doing pranayama and meditation. Feeling gratitude and reason for being thankful.

I play inspiring music and I look for videos on KZfaq by inspiring personalities. I also pray and I have a Marco Polo group that posts daily affirmations. And I stay away from drinking and drugs.

In my difficult times,I focus and meditate....and most probably think of my father who have struggled to educate us....I often remember my father wearing only one pair of slipper n a trouser to feed us and sent us to school...His sacrifice for us is a great pillar during my down time....I can't afford to be feeble and give up easily.....remember your parents struggle and you will realise that it's not worth it to focus on your struggles one...look for road which will bring inner strength and focus on purpose in life that will shape you as a good human being....Have a great day ahead.

I think finding strength is understanding /examining what we have done or what we could have done better. I found this helps me! We sometimes feel doomed but in fact its our attitude that will determine if our hardships will cause us to feel like a victim or take that experience in finding what opportunities we can see in it.

I find strength by reminding myself of all the struggles that I have gone through and I didn't give up :) Thanks Jay Shetty for all your nice videos. I every evening walk in the street and listen to you. Every single thing you say touches my heart and makes me to continue. I am an Afghan living in Germany and I wish one day I am able to translate all your videos into persian so all my people specially girls in Afghanistan can understand you. You are great ❤

what I do is, I will write down each and every difficulty I m suffering that moment and examine the same whether I can solve it or how much further it can disturb me and all. Next time when u r stressed please note down the problems and for sure you can handle or find a way to go through it.

It helps when you talk to a friend who listens just to air out your struggle. But ultimately, Jesus is the one who saves you, who delivers you and will take all those fears, worries, and heaviness in your heart because He is the provider. And you'll just know it when you put your Faith in Him and PRAY. Prayers help a lot in ways more than you can imagine.

Your video really saved my life. Thank you so much Jay Shetty. I have been brutally sabotaged by one of the famous covert narcissist. He try to kill my career, social circle and my public image. I am so exhausted with the game I have never wanted to play. Thank you for helping me to refocus to my goal and my true identity. Love

First I remind myself to breathe, telling myself this is temporary, then I can focus on what I can learn from the situation and I reach out to my family and friends.
