Hello, Bella. I am coping by accepting the fact that he married the woman he was having the affair with. I had to accept the fact that when he married her, he was saying he no longer wanted to work on our marriage. I started out by saying "I forgive them" because I was supposed to but now I can say it and mean it.

MommyOnaBudget, first start by forgiving and trusting yourself before even thinking of loving again. It will take some time before you can heal from the effects of the abuse suffered from a NPD. Allow yourself time to heal, cry, scream, etc. You need to allow God to help you heal and then look forward to loving again.

Lori Owens yes, my grandmother was married for 32 years 1948 to 1980. She had four boys with my grandfather. A lot of drama during the marriage,abuse, illness, revolution, exile you name it ! my grandfather died in 80 and when my grandmother returned home from the funeral she asked her relatives to throw out her mattress ! That was the end of the end! Her life started new! She cut off her red auburn hair and dyed it blonde ! Traveled and went to parties ! She lost 50 pounds ! The transformation was intense ! Obviously he my grandfather was nothing but trouble ! BUT she stood by his side until the end she was faithful! So she was bored and still young she started working at a supermarket in the deli she loved to cook so she started preparing meals people loved it ! She was busy ! A man who was a political prisoner for 25 years in Cuba feel in love with my grandmother and her cooking and after a while they started dating and were married in 1988 ! 8 years after my grandfather death! He bought her a new house and took care of her and her mother! My great grandmother! He passed away in 2005 it was very sad !

RC CGC wow what a story. Your grandmother seems like a wonderful woman. They say u can find true love more than once. That is awesome. Sounds like her hair is gorgeous. Sorry about your grandfather though that is sad. I was married for quite awhile. Been divorced about six years. And right now I kinda feel zapped, so to speak about finding a new guy. I'm sure their are great guys out there. Know what I'm saying? And your right it could happen when I least expect. That the way it happened with my ex-husband. Lol That is an amazing story about your grandmother. Thank u for sharing your grandma, that is so kind. I dated one guy, after my divorce for like a week. And then it didn't last. Then another guy asked me out on a date like two years later. And I was like nope. Lol I'm just not ready to date right now. Know what I'm saying? Don't get me wrong it is great to have friends. Or become friends with a guy and then maybe date him. And it is difficult in society now. Everything was so different when my husband and I were dating and married. Compared to how dating is now. Back then, took the time to get to know each other now. It's way too fast paced. But u never know, just like u said sweetie. I might find someone when I least expect it. That is kind of u to say. Allen Black I'm with you. My divorce was just final on May 7th of this year. I'm better but. I can NEVER go back to DATING and oh no NOT LOVE. I'm praying for just peace and joy again. Love ??? NOPE

Is Divorce to great of a sin for Yeshua to forgive and erase?

"To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. 11But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife." (1 Corinthians 7)

@Tarzan. He means that remarriage after divorce is adultery.

It’s not adultery if you have biblical grounds for divorce.
