@Karen Lee Good question, but by observing CNN, Netflix and FPS-gaming - The worldwide audience would love to play it out for real. What we love, we will act out in reality - "Monkey see monkey do". A rock, a stick and a gun are all dead objects. It's the mindset that pick those things up, that are dangerous...

Ikr, the detail in this is awesome! It's so annoying when allegedly post-apocalyptic characters look like they just stepped out of the shower, blow-dried their hair, and then pulled on some fake-dirtied clothing. This one looks how one really would look, and makes the whole film so much more real.

Out of all the KZfaq short films there are on the post apocalypse this is one of the better ones. This was actually believable. Wish they were all this intriguing cause trying to find a good one on KZfaq is like sifting through a dumpster. Most of the people that make them make it obvious that they’d be among the first to die when the shit actually happens, like, for real. But this one impressed me. I’m no Hollywood critic or even a person who understands the process of filming movies or even anyone who’s opinion matters, but it was good

OH WOW! FANTASTIC!! This movie was so spot on in so many different ways. FIRST, the human element: humans are social creatures, we need to be with others. He craved just a touch from another human...could this truly be another person in front of me? (oh this actor's facial expressions!!!) We saw this when he crawled into that bed with the dead woman. Oh, and I just have to say, even though we know the baby was in his imagination, that baby was so amazing--what expressions. Beautiful! Anyway, this actor portrayed many emotions so perfectly---where is he now??? He should be up there with other A list actors. Back to this amazingly well-made movie: the sky was overcast the whole film, everything represented death, the grass, decay of buildings, etc. But at the end of the movie...he died finding what he'd been looking for. And also at the end, he finally received that touch from another human. But then, also true to humans and survival, off she went, clearly emotional about the death, but then she walks away as life must go on. HOW SAD but how true. CONGRATS to such a fantastic movie!

That sentence about most of them making it obvious that they'd be the first to go is dead on! I'm 67 and I'm not trying to come on like, because of that, I know what I'm doing. But, experience does count and the majority of people have no idea just how evil people can be under the right circumstances. ANYBODY has the capacity! I think some people have become a little TOO civilized for their own good, but what is going on right now should give them glimmer of how it can be, and this is really nothing so far!

I'm don't consider myself human as much as animal. I've been alone more of my life than not. In saying that, I fully believe that there are a few in this world who are like me and truly do not mind being alone. I would much rather be in the woods with animal's than with humans. At least with animal's you always know exactly where you stand.

A stunning film. I watch a lot of post-apocalyptic fiction and this is one of the best I have ever seen. A man driven nearly mad with desperation to connect with another human being encounters another person with the same need, but long years of survival have hardened them to the point that they are poisonous to each other. I felt it. Very well executed. Great production value. Superb attention to detail, and you avoided so many of the typical post-apocalyptic tropes. (No shot of him eating out of a can and tossing it aside or looking at what's left in a water bottle.) You focused on what's important--the emotion, the need for hope juxtaposed against the fear of embracing it. Well done.

Just as we feel the importance of being when something disappears, this short film made me feel humanity strongly. I thought, "What's meaningful if I'm alone even if I have everything?" and I thought again about the meaning of love. For me, this short film instilled a great will in me, just as someone's words or small actions can mean a lot to me and instill a strong will. Thank you for making a good short film.

Like all good post-apocalyptic films, this one also uses the genre to tell us something profound. Perhaps something about love. About the terror it can cause when one feels the need to let someone close. So, a movie about being alone, and about searching for connection. It takes lot of work and talent to make walking in ruins engaging, to make the movement into a story. Visuals in this movie are really good, and acting is pretty damn fantastic. Camerawork, well everything basically, is top level. Highly recommended.

In a post apocalyptic world, unlike food and water, seldom is sanity accounted for as a major commodity necessary for survival. The disparity portrayed in this short film shows what could happen to someone's mind when isolated in such a harsh environment, and how brutal it can be when they don't take their mental well being into consideration while facing these elements. Good job on a excellent thought provoking short film. The production was really amazing.

He dreamed of his own end. When he realized she was real and not just in his head, he'd already convinced her he was insane. And she was right. She probably was near there herself. This is likely what it would be like if only a few survived. Survived what though? This is open for a second film showing what happened leading up to this one. Great job. Well written, well acted and directed. The make up and wardrobe excellent. The abandoned buildings and all. I'm wondering where this was filmed. Maybe a followup film where she finds other survivors? I need something to make me feel better now. This was a bit depressing. LOL. Again, great job.

Good movie. Better than most short apocalyptic films. There were some misgivings, like why didn't he try to talk or yell after the woman to show he was sane. But then it would've been harder to make the intended ending, which is the climax, and who knows how people would behave in such circumstances, driven half mad. Let's see more by these movie makers.

Good film. I have always loved them cute little European cars. Secondly, everyone should have a Colt 1911....great gun. Sad story of the madness brought on by isolation and despair.

Colt is still the best, despite most Colts being plain jane mil-spec or competition models, cause they use the least MIM parts and pins their ejectors. Kimber and Springfield appeals to a segment of the market that wants all the modern tactical features but are loaded with MIMs to reduce cost, by cutting corners.

Ah, I'd love a Colt 1911, maybe for my next gun. I'm a woman, but the old Colt motto works for me too: _"God made men and Sam Colt made them equal."_

@@theia1653 I have not been a fan of Kimber since a cast aluminum part broke on a 1911. It was the safety.

Be aware of the perception of others. Just their perception, from here on out, can get you canceled, fired, jailed, beaten, married, and even divorced. What others thought I was or was doing or did, was the one thing that could sometimes rear up and try to beat me.
