Windfury divine shield on a minion that can go face and then delete all taunts with the execvation reward is going to be absolute hell

I would have loved an elemental-excavate hybrid. Making the deck a midrange excavate rather than a combo-oriented one like Rogue or Control like the others.

@@WeeWeeJumbo Sadly that deck got the biggest buff in the form of Windfury... Stick even a single minion on the board and you've got a potential game ending threat when you combine that with their minion buffing spells. It's a straight up doubling of the potential output from stuff like The Garden's Grace or For Quel'Thalas that are already played in those lists. Of course there's also the potential for a slower excavate list that also includes Finley for the pseudo silence effect to make sure that the damage is also unblockable...

Pretty sure that earthquake triggers deathrattles before the 2 damage, so aftershocks will work in a similar way

It has happen before with things like Galakrond, so its not unusual. Plus, they probably wanted to leave some classes out to guaranteed people won't face excavate decks every game.

the sad part is that they could've given dh excavate package so the class has a playable archetype after rotation, but we didn't get anything useful

Meanwhile, 4 classes don't get Highlander card either. It's just the way it goes, devs like to occasionally release asymmetric mechanics to create some division in decks that are played.

Yes but one has 8 mana and the other has 3 mana... Also reno made highlander decks in this insane powercreep time playable, so its actually one of the most balanced cards in hs in the right perspective...

Shaman is one of my favorite classes for the theme, but I always disliked the Evolve mechanic. They invented it 8 years ago to try give some kind of identity to Shaman when it didn't have any. From that moment, they gave Evolve to Shaman every time they didn't know what to do with the class. Remember the Frozen Throne Hero Card? Last moment thought to make it a crappy unfun evolve card. This treasure reward though can be very good. It will likely be bad with low-cost minions even though you probably get better effects for cheap. I can see Shaman playing specific mana drops so that you evolve them for 3 more mana and hit a specific pool of minions that is op.

@@KhristianBolano except heres the problem, the only good cards are at 8, 9, 10, thats where theres not a lot of bad minions, but playing king krush for 6 mana isnt good, not to mention what 5, 6, 7 drops are you running that you want to evolve, when you have those cards to be those cards in the first place, and the fact you cannot get titans, if they added them to the pool maybe it would be worth it. also this card generates zero value for the most part, and is in most part 4 mana do nothing

Brann wouldn't be a Hunter card because Hunter already has a highlander card while Warrior doesn't.

It's based around different design choices. A game like Yu-Gi-Oh will have a card contain the complete works of William Shakespear and 47 complete encyclopaedia to tell you what it does. Hearthstone uses at most, 4 lines of text and then lets you figure it out by playing the card.

Maybe... The expansion timeline is so whack that it's hard to tell if Un'goro is set before or after Badlands... I think it might not be, since Galvadon is "The Last Kaleidosaur" suggesting he outlived these fossilized ones.

Yes, dual class cards count as their own class. Meaning that Elitist Snob will consider them Paladin cards (In much the same way a Rogue playing Tess won't recast their dual class cards and they won't activate Velarok)

"Wherever it is" doesn't work. Since minions in hand/deck will keep their original costs which needs to be stated. It would be too many words and also jank af if it said "Battlecry: Transform your minions into ones that cost (3) more (wherever they are) (keeping their original costs)" Same as why they didn't use the "In your hand, deck and battlefield" line either. Too many words.
