In this tutorial, we will look at How to make "Fire Alarm Circuit using 555 timer" Step by Step completely
555 timer IC is an Integrated Circuit that can be used for so many different types of applications like Timer, Pulse generation, Oscillator, a Memory element, etc.
Fire alarms are prime necessities in modern buildings and architectures, especially in banks, data centers and gas stations. They detects the fire in ambiance at very early stage by sensing smoke or/and heat and raise an alarm which warns people about the fire and furnish sufficient time to take preventive measures. It not only prevents a big losses caused by deadly fire but sometimes proves to be life savers. Here we are building one simple fire alarm system with the help of 555 Timer IC, which will sense the fire (temperature rise in surrounding), and trigger the alarm.

Thermistor (10K)
Resistors (1K, 100K, 4.7K)
Variable resistor (1M)
Electrolytic Capacitor (10uF)

for some reason, i need to connect 11k resistor parallel to the potentiometer and thermistor for the circuit to work. I guess it's from the potentiometer cuz i cant properly fine tune it for the circuit. It all works now thank you :)

2:53 where did you connect short leg of at i mean at what number of bread board like you connected the long one at 25 so what about the shory leg of the buzzer?

Hi, I followed as you showed exactly until where you connect the potentiometer, you have a two pin potentiometer while I have a 3-pin potentiometer. How do I connect it with the circuit?
