Lyrics:
Bye-bye baby bye-bye
And that was all she wrote
I got home late on a Saturday night
And I knew right away something wasn't right
I knew she was gone
She took all I had, but left a hole in my heart
Should've known it'd go bad right from the start
What did I do wrong
I can't understand why she would leave me this way
With nothing to say
Then I found the note on the door
It said good-bye and she don't want me no more

@Doddy Rayyan It is. It's just turn of a decade. The '80's is the era for Glam METAL & all Hair METAL bands. Then the '90's is the era for grunge, Alternative ROCK, & popularity of Extreme METAL all over the world. (Thrash & Deathmetal.) Grunge & Alternative bands killed the Hair Metal bands by their cleancut nerdy image & their simplicity - t-shirts, wornout jeans, & vintage sneakers. Which became more appealing to '90s teenage girls & non-rockers. Then by 2k's. Nu METAL, modern rock, & pop rock emerged. & this 2010's is the era for Metalcore & Deathcore. METAL is simply just keep on evolving. 💀

Im 24 years old, but thanks to my parents, I grew up on all the good stuff: Dokken, Wasp, Iron Maiden, Europe, Dio, Queensrÿche, King Diamond, Helloween, White Lion, Iced Earth & Bon Jovi when he was still cool lol. And despite having listened to countless CDs already. I still discover stuff I haven't heard from back then, like this song. Epic bands throughout the 80s for sure. Wish I could experience just one day in that decade, when the youth was united in heavy metal!

This band is so unique and unpredictable. Usually most songs have a super easy vocal melody but hes adding notes to the vocal melody that nobody would dare attempt. Just listen to the verse when he sings high then low then mid the low then high and so on. I'm a singer and what hes doing is insanely hard to do. The band is absolutely phenomenal too.

Bsumers2: exactly my friend, when singers are noted for their skills with musical instruments and not for stupid reasons like today when rock bands were noted for sounding like a rock band and not doing shit coldplay, maroon 5 , king of leon, etc ..

...yes, it seemed around every corner in the 80s during high school there were songs like this - we were spoilt. Wow what happened to it all? How did the music industry become nowadays so boring and uninspiring?

I've heard the same thing form metalheads regarding other great hairband guitarists and bands! I love metal as well, hell Maiden got me into hard rock/metal in the first place, but I still can appreciate the fact that that was the golden age of hard rock. There was too much good music to even keep up with compared to now. It is what it is. I could care less what people wore, looked like or how they performed on stage. If they're good the ears, who care!

Believe it or not, I just discovered these guys on 'Hair Nation" radio. What a sound! Their look, their sound, their harmonies, this band had it all. Now I hear frontman CJ Snare has passed? These guys should have been one of the biggest bands of the 80's era. 'All She Wrote" what a great song.
