So, a 4th rounder for Slayton and maybe for Ojulari? With how injury prone this team is, it sure does feel nice to have some depth in some of these positions. The only crowded room we have right now is WR. Not saying the trade value isn’t reasonable, but i think they’re more valuable to us as depth.

Definitely would love to see them trade Ojulari and get some sort of value for him. He is another in the list of wasted pass rush draft picks. Get what you can for him and cut bait. Biggest part of being depth is being available and he hasn't been that in the 3 years he has been here. And what kindnof depth is he. You have burns and Kayvon, so you don't want him as a designated pass rusher because are you taking either of them off the field. You need a better run defender who can pass rush on earlier downs to spell the other guys and make sure they are fresh for rushing the passer. And even with the lesser workload Ojulari ends up hurt (look at his snap counts between injuries). He much like our WR picks was the too much reaching for traits and not actually quality. Carter, Ximines and Ojulari are reasons we needed to make a trade for Burns. As for Slayton, only way I want to see him go is a deadline trade. Don't make the same mistake as last year. We know you're not resigning him, so if the years starts off in the tank actually get value instead of just letting them walk. I never understood why shepard got so much love when Slayton was the only real reliable guy we had. He may not be top tier but he was a steady presence.

Now I have a super unrealistic dream for the giants. Maybe they can trade Slayton or Ojulari with draft capital at the trade deadline for Jeffery Simmons. If the Titans have a really slow start this year, maybe they look to offload that semi expensive DT contract 🤔 for more offensive firepower.

If they trade Azeez, will the team who gets him also get his doctor, some crutches, and all of the medical supplies that they will need? All of the talent in the world doesn't mean anything if the player cannot play. Ask the Yankees about Stanton. 325 million to play 20 games a year.

What depth do we have to trade away?

Slayton is expendable. Nabbers Hyatt and wondale Robinson are the guys that we need to develop. We can hold onto ARob for a veteran presence for a lower cap hit. Ojulari adds pass rushing depth that is needed. You can never have too many pass rushers.

Trading Slayton when we going all in on DJ is the dumbest idea ever. And on top of that he’s a 700 yard receiver on an offense that has been bottom 5 the last 4 out of 5 years

Contracts are as much about timing as talent. Is he better than Gabe Davis? I think so, but Giants are in the drivers seat. If he has a decent year, he’ll get paid next year. Just not with Gmen.

Sorry, Ojulari's play has always been terribly overrated by fans and pundits alike. Even that big sack season was largely a coverage sack windfall. He's a one-dimensional player with bend who is always injured. The issue is that savvy GMs are not going to give up much for him at all. As a result, it may be worth keeping him for some pass rush insurance. As for Darney, I always cringe when he's in .... he's a walking holding penalty.
