I had lunch w/Proctor and Bergman in the early 70's at Toronto's El Mocombo. This sure brings it back. Thanx

Ah! I was privileged to know The Firesign Theatre starting back in the late 1960s. Actually, I had met Peter Bergman and Phil Austin when they did "Radio Free Oz" comedy bits for a rock-and-roll station in Pasadena. Tiny Ossmann was adorable. I credit, first, Tom Lehrer, then Flanders and Swann, then The Firesign Theater for making me what I am today. My own touch with immortality is on their album "Dear Friends". Ossmann's infomercial as Don. G. O''vani, for "The Musical Heritage Surplus Record Club of Hong Kong" was recorded at The Ashgrove in Hollywood, New Year's Eve, 1970. My laughter can be clearly heard. A cultural landslide to fill your home entertainment center.
