I think that is awesome your teaching you young son how to run a saw and drive the tractor. Reminds me of when I was little and my dad teaching me the same things in life. Memories and values you'll always remember. If you never teach them, how will they ever learn.

If I had access to pulled poles, I’d do the same thing. I am still doing what you were doing lol. As far as regeneration, I’ve owned a couple Oriental AC’s and do own a JD. The AC’s regen like yours (so long as you keep the idle above 1800 RPM or so). My JD have regenerated yet lol By the way, why I’m the world did I congratulate you about reaching 1K? Your milestone will mean I have to endure ads interrupting my viewing of all things Twin City lol Oh, you’re a patient father in the instruction of your son. I taught my children in the same fashion…of course, mine grew up to be ingrates that never show up to help their old Pappy again 🤨
