I do not have a KZfaq channel but served from 70-74. I was in Korea when Viet Nam ended, I had the small Timberwolf TW-1 splitter near the gate. I think I did around 3 cords without anyone feeding me. It was a good time and I met some great people with the vets organization and the wood cutters.

@@TwinCityFirewood I got it unboxed and assembled this afternoon with my brother in law. We tested it on four rounds that were 18”-24”. They were pine that had already been somewhat seasoning. Both of us were really impressed by the speed and the manipulation of the splits that it made. I made smaller bundle sized splits. They came out nice,…other than the ones with knots. We filled a wheelbarrow in a pretty short amount of time. I’m looking at setting a new standard for selling firewood in my area.
@TwinCityFirewood2 күн бұрын
@amandadavis9726 Awesome, the SS makes good clean splits. It does more slicing than tearing the wood.
@amandadavis9726Күн бұрын
@@TwinCityFirewood it sure does. I’ve already fell in love with it, lol. To make things even better,…my realtor gave me a 500i as a gift today 😁. I’m so thankful and grateful for that. I told him that it will definitely be put to use in the next week or so when I order my first ever load of logs. Just need a bundle wrapper and a couple of other handy accessories to start my firewood bundle business.

Not a lot of tree service wood here in Wyoming if we want wood it’s either semi load of pine or big cotton wood. I did get some elm I sure did like burning that. I sure do miss all the variety of West Virginia woods. And the adrenaline rush of cutting a tree of the power line and how things change with the added tension. You think you were good and instantly got humbled. You have me drooling over that wood. lol carry on Brother!
@TwinCityFirewood6 күн бұрын
😂😂. He brought me a small load today. It’s maple & white oak. I know exactly what you mean about cutting trees off of power lines. That tension will sure fool you when those lines rise up!! I’ve been humbled a few times!! Many thanks for your time watching and commenting!! 👊🏻🇺🇸

Nice looking tree service wood you have there . There’s no point in messing with all that crotchy twisted stuff when ya have good stuff to work up . When we get loads I separate the good stuff from the junk into different piles . When the junk stuff gets to be to much we just haul it off and keep processing the good stuff . 80 degrees wow it’s 29 degrees here this morning . Great video Jacob

That’s right!! I usually burn the stuff I can’t use. I’ll have 4-5 big fires a year. It’s been in the 70’s lately for the hi temps but 80’s are coming back. That’s unusual to be this warm this early. Dang bugs are out way too early!! 😂😂 Appreciate your time and comments!!!

Great looking set up. I love knowing my house won’t freeze in case something goes sideways. On another note I build aftermarket rails for the Supersplit so you can lubricate the cam followers.
