@@rubymcdonagh3971 since corona is around i had alot of free time at home, First started with waltz and singles with two foot landing Then i realised i can land on one foot after a month or two Righ after while doing waltz i was in my mood and wanted to try a axel attempt I landed two foot at first try but it was fully rotated second try was one foot landing (off ice again) Then i was like cool nice then i tried a double but it was a hilarious fail lol I didnt try for it for a while and meanwhile i learned doing single sal + single T + single T on ice Then i was again in mood one day and tried a double at first it was like axel, needed half rotation more And i just kept rotatin as fast as i can till i get used to it And then later on i was doing off ice double with 1/4 pre rotation off ice after 5 total months of training ( some days on 5 months were me eating and being lazy actually lol) I still keep going for jumps with no coach but myself

Hello:) I'm a figure fan from korea. I was just watching some figure videos, and I finally saw your videos, your developing progress and this one. After finishing those videos, I felt something hit me hard. I somtimes blame myself for not starting figure skating when i was younger. And i realized that while im blaing for nothing, somebody else starts moving and achieve it. Thank you for giving me the brave to move on. Well, i just wanted to say that im so proud of you, and i'll be your fan as long as you keep working on it.

OMG I'm in love with your skating dress it's so beautiful. And it was so beautiful to see the determination in your eyes right from the start. I'm a figure skater myself, but I started in what most people would call the perfect age to start skating. I was 4 years old when I was on the ice for the first time, and since then my love for skating have grown. But I wasn't a bright light in the beginning to be honest I was awful, it was first when I had skated for 7-8 years I began to be great for good. I began to get medals and land all the single jumps, and now after almost 12 years I can jump almost any double jump (except for the double axel) so keep up with the good work, because I do believe that it's never too late to start skating. ⛸️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I've been skating for almost a year and I am really surprised by how much farther you have gone compared to me! You are really talented and amazing at figure skating. Hopefully, I can become better at figure skating, but right now I'm taking a month break because of winter but when I go back, I want to get a lot better.

You are making amazing progress and your routine is well-practiced and graceful. You don't even look nervous - I also started skating as an adult and know how addicting it is! Think you would like ice dancing as well and it would have a huge impact on your skating; I love it.

I was crying when I saw this video. I also decided that I would skate even though I was 17 . I did think a lot about my age because it was so late. I saw a lot of figure skaters that they had started when they was young. They are even younger than me and had some achievements. Whenever I thought about it, I felt confused and sad. I wonder why I didn't start earlier. But I saw that I had to go on because I knew it was my dream. I wanna pursue that dream and join in some competitions. That's all I wanna do in the future. Luckily, I have improved my fexibility since I joined a taekwondo club last year. So I think it is the first step for me to keep on. Keep going girl! You are my motivation! I am so proud of you

Very beautiful program🤩⛸ I started at the age of 37 years and started to compete after skated only 3 months on the ice. However now 4 years later I have reached a level that is close to the kids that I am skating with, some of them has skated for 7-12 years.. so I am proud that I am a fast learner. So if you can dream it you can also do it. Do it or not do it, there is no try😀

I used to skate a couple years ago, it was from like 3rd grade to 5th grade but I caught up to the kids who started years before me. Your timeline vids kept showing up in my suggested and I tried to stay away cause I didn't wanna miss it again, ut I gave in and watched. I miss carving in the ice and putting full force into jumps and spins. I think I finally quit because of pressures right when I started juvenile. Watching you skate refreshed old wounds but it was pretty.

This is very inspiring😊 I started figures skateing late as well (age 11) and it has been a year and a half and my dream is to go to the Olympics. I am only in freeskate 3 (excel high beginner) and now a days it is very hard to watch girls only a little older then me be in there peak of there careers, at 14 and 15 going to junior worlds and jr Olympics . But you inspire me a lot to keep trying.

This is such an inspiration for me. Im thirteen and i want to start skating but then i see other kids younger than me (like 5 - 8 years old) doing toeloops and waltz jumps when for me, the proudest jump ive ever done was a bunny hop. Sometimes i feel like im too old to be starting now but, seeing you out there succeeding at such a fast rate and also being older than me makes me want to move forward. So thank you! ♥️

Your spins are excellent. You have such a grace about your movements. So gentle and lovely. Also great choice for your skating attire. I think you could use some powerstroking technique. You seem timid about bending and leaning in to your forward and backward stroke. But also, you inspire me to attempt to improve the elegance in my own skating. Great program!

You're really an inspiration, as someone who was always put down by peers and even family at times to pursue a hobby or just something you felt drawn to when you're older than you're peers that started as toodlers. I always felt that life got in the way and I would constantly delay things I wanted to do, however I realised that you will always be doing something at whatever stage of your life, but is about prioritising. So, after many discussions with my parents, I've decided to uptake ice skating classes as well as starting my first year in medical school. Is going to be hard, but I will definately put in the work. Thank you for being an inspiration and a role model for someone like me and continue doing what you do.

I’ve come from both of your progression videos and you’ve given me hope I’m almost 18 and i’ve always wanted to figure skate but we couldn’t afford it. I've been skating 5 years and no where near this good lol. I need to know what your training routine/schedule was like because this is insane. Gorgeous skating. My first competition is in 3 weeks around this same level as you. But I still can't spin more than 2-3 revs after all this time. My jumps are pretty strong though. I struggle with fear/mental block. Especially now after I've injured myself twice while preparing for this competition.

were u self-taught initially, and then moved onto a coach? what program type are u in? im interested in starting skating next (ill be 18), but i dont know where to begin.

i was in a learn-to-skate course for the beginning of the year and then switched to private coaching!! teaching yourself is okay in the beginning but if you want to spin and jump you need a professional’s eyes on you because it’s crucial that you learn the correct technique. otherwise you’ll have to relearn everything which is harder than learning it new! hope this helped!

This was lovely..so grateful.. I'm yet to compete in my first competition..it was cancelled due to lockdown..to win a medal for ice skating is my dream..om going for it!! At 49! What have I got to loose? ..haha!!
