One of the most powerful videos I’ve seen. Just seeing what kids are being affected throughout the speech, more people need to watch this video man

Wish I listened to these type of speakers in high school. I am lucky to be alive after 30 plus years of addiction. Proud to now spend the with my kids and they don't have to see me high or drunk. Family first .... always

Man Brothers , I sent this Video to one of my ACTS Brothers who was going to do a speech in the retreat real similar to his story. I recorded it to my tv with out knowing. I told him about it and for sure I thought i would find it on Yuotube ,but didn't.Well I thought how am i going to send this video to him. Then I recorded on KZfaq I know its poor quality (my first time making a video) but really didn't I care I just wanted my friend to see it. So I left it that, not really one for social media .well time has passed since then 2 months ago I contracted covid and barely recovering and tomorrow I got work ,but during then I've gone into isolation and maybe depression my boys went to their mom ,and here I am complaining Why cant I be like Job in the bible . The devil tested him and he lost everything even his children ,but he still praised the lord. I been feeling so quilty and even drinking more. Man I dont know why I'm telling y'all this so personal like I said I dont even have Facebook , but the lord is telling me to tell his story .You see he led me to the this video and replies today I saw the video and made me ball again but what hit the most was y'alls replies. Thinking that they were all going to be negative ones for poor video, but then I saw Gods work in ya'lls replies my heart was filled with joy again. A simple poor quality video with a strong message has shown me that GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME. IF you haven't gone to an ACTS retreat go it will change your life It surely has changed mine

Me and my best friend growing up split a 12 pack. We both were sick the next day. I’m almost 40 he hasn’t drank since. I’m 14 years sober now still trying to pick up the pieces alcoholism and schizophrenia. Believe me I’m grateful to be sober I’m one of the few ppl in the detox my social worker says who is alive or isn’t in the mental health system. Believe me I’m grateful for that but most days I struggle tbh. My best friend never drank again he got a degree, married his dream girl has two kids and owns a house. I don’t regret my life but I gave up my college athletics and my dream girl cause of alcoholism and bong hits. I’m 39 I woke up today and I dreamt about playing college ball again wishing I didn’t wake up to this life I’m grateful for but sobriety is hard work and I’m one of the lucky ones. I’m the best ball player nobody ever heard of. You don’t have to believe me. What I’m trying to say is don’t start. Thank you Mr. Herren.

Hey Brother I recorded this video for a friend because he was he preparing for a testimony in a retreat . Very similar to his story I had recorded this video on my TV for sure I thought it be on KZfaq. But it wasn't so I decided to do my first and only video ( hence the poor quality) lol. So I did and sent it to him and left it that . That was 4 years ago. Last year I was contracted covid I was in a very dark place my kids has just gone back to mother .lonely a depressed I started to drink even more. And some reason I saw this video again started bawling. Then I noticed all the comments. For the first time . GOD used This poor quality of a video remind him of his love. Stay strong Brother . GOD LOVES YOU and if gone an Acts retreat go . It will change your life it changed mine

If you feel that way then tell a priest or pastor ,but if you cant just tell God. The other one wants you to suffer and keep you in the same place.he doesn't want to let go what belongs to God. You're God's precious gift. FIGHT WITH ALL YOU GOT ,because it matters to him God loves you. Praying for you

anon soul God can’t solve money problems, that’s not how it works, some parents can’t afford it some people can’t, and you can’t blame parents for not being able to do that. That would be selfish of you

are you implying that those who have a lot of money and go to private schools don't have access to or begin using drugs? I hate to tell you but that couldn't be any less true.
