Man I really felt it when he said “It feels so good.” I hadn’t skated in 30 years, borrowed skateboard a couple of weeks ago and then bought myself one the next day. It truly does feel good to skate and even better when you accomplish something new.

I'm 42 yo now... wanted to try an electric skateboard for many years.... I bought a cheap one a year ago just to see if I'd like it.... 1 surgery many falls and 4 more skateboards later I feel super alive and fulfilled when experiencing new qnd challenging things.

The first time I ever rolled in on a 10ft vert ramp on a BMX bike, I quickly rode to the back of the park and cried. I was so terrified that when I finally successfully did it, I couldn’t help it. I was super relieved and happy. I was 23 at the time.
@acousticplayer33 жыл бұрын
shit, I'm 23 and this'll be me when I drop in on a quarter #nopadsnohelmetjustbubble
Rolling in is super scary! Not much you can do to prepare for it but just to send it. My max is rolling in 6 ft on skateboard. Scariest moment was dropping oververt without a doubt.

i never forgot my first drop in. That day changed my life and how i see everything in life. Everything is a challenge, and you have two choices: do that, or don't do that. If you choose to do, you'll have obstacles, difficulties, hard things to solve, people who disagree with you but when you did it, the sensation is undescritible, it's the sensation to feel alive to me. BTW, congratulations for your drop in kid, never quit skateboarding

@@cortevionjackson848 You're clearly not a skateboarder. You have 4 and 5 year olds dropping in and doing tricks nowadays. I'm just being real. Another thing... this kid is fearful, and fear hinders you huge when skating. Sure, he conquered his fear on this little drop in, but in the long haul, fear will hold him back. Skateboarding isn't about going pro and getting on magazine covers, it's about fun. Which this kid is clearly having, and that's all that counts. But trust me, he's not going pro.

Great video! Quick question about the ramp, Bryan. That exterior paint you used for the surface...assuming it's not too slick? Did you add sand or anything for grip? I have a similar ramp and I need to weatherproof/paint it. Thanks in advance!
@SnyderArt3 жыл бұрын
The order was sealant, primer and exterior satin paint. The satin sheen gives it some grip and was on the stickier side. No need for sand. Hope that helps!
@jmarg763 жыл бұрын
@@SnyderArt Hey Bryan, have you noticed that the paint slowed you guys down drastically (momentum-wise)? I painted mine and man is it slow. Takes a lot more effort to pump and build speed. It makes sense I guess, adding paint will add more resistance. But it's definitely noticeable.

Persistence and determination are not always easy to come by. Clearly, this little shredder has it in spades, and that's what really stands out to me, in this clip. The next, is the support. It's not overbearing, or overwhelming, but wholly present. Also rare, in this day and age. Some incredible things happening here, well before he accomplishes his goal!! 👏👏👍
