REDLINE REBUILDS: We spend hundreds of hours tearing apart old engines, machining and obsessively cleaning the parts, and reassembling it all. We exhaustively chronicle every step along the way with thousands of photos, then boil it down to a fast-paced but incredibly detailed time-lapse video. Share the satisfaction of the finish and the first fire-up! | kzfaq.info?list...
BARN FIND HUNTER: Tom Cotter literally wrote the book(s) on barn finds, starting with The Cobra in the Barn. Tom travels North America in his 1939 Ford Woodie Wagon, searching for forgotten classics in barns, backyards, dusty garages, and scrapyards and meeting the fascinating characters who open the barn doors for him and tell him their stories.

WHY I DRIVE: Deep dive profiles of owners of interesting cars. Owners narrate, sharing their particular passion, with evocative on-the-road footage. We take you to their homes and garages, showing you firsthand the turn of the key, the first high-rpm upshift, and their favorite roads and destinations, whether it’s the local racetrack, ice cream parlor, or canyon road.

He just did he's been putting out video's of picture's of car's. I pretty much do the same thing I have a sketch book I draw in before I start to build something to get an idea on what material's I need and what it will look like before I start to build it. Even though the plans can change during the build but I still have a drawing so other's that is helping me know what I'm doing kinda like blue prints.

Chip is dropping some OG art instruction here. Especially the tracing/cheating bit. He's 100% correct. Pros use it as a base to save some steps. Amateurs use it as a crutch. You pull what you need from reference and your knowledge makes it look better than the reference. What Chip is doing isn't really cheating/tracing. He's doing an old composition method. Draw your elements on tracing paper (Chip's using a marker paper here), cut them out and compose them. Tape 'em down and overlay a clean paper and redraw them cleaner. Same thing as shifting elements in layers. Thanks for these vids Chip!

hi chip, im a mustang nut and i pretty much did the same thing with a 1940 ford truck. i found a cobra mustang at a junk yard and transplanted the cobra drive train into my truck. we even custom built a independent rear. all the rest was all cobra. its a very nice looking 1940 ford f series.

My favorite part of his TV show was always the creative process in creating a design. This videos really shows how much of an artist his is and I want to thank you Chip for doing these. So awesome to watch. BTW, we had a 1972 bright orange Bronco when I was a kid and that thing was a freaking tank. I mean that in a good way.

At first I wasn't sure but the more he drew and talked about it the more I kinda love the idea. Let's see an interior sketch. I'm thinking the classic Bronco is probably 3 or 4 inches narrower than a modern Mustang so adapting a reproduction shell might dictate a stretch of the body's width.
