I never knew that hula hooping gave adults a similar calming sensation as a baby being rocked, but it’s completely makes sense! 💡 Hula hooping has always made me feel good and I was hooked from the very first time I tried a toy shop hoop on a whim. I always assumed that the hooping made me feel good simply because any type of exercise makes you feel good by releasing endorphins and increasing circulation, etc., but it seems like hula hooping does all that plus giving you a calming sensation like a baby being rocked. I love learning new facts like this, and I am so appreciative that you include these in your videos. 🙏🏻💕

Thank you so much for leaving a kind comment and for your hunger to learn ❤ this is only touching the surface really. Once you learn about the benefits of rocking on your parasympathetic nervous system and then the poses that boost dopamine and serotonin and reduce cortisol then you somehow end up researching sacral rocking and treatment of adhesions and facia and mobility... it is phenomenal what hooping can help us achieve in terms of physical and mental well being. We are so lucky to have found out about it and that we were brave enough to try. Most people won't even try...

@@BeeVargaTheHulahooper, This is all so interesting. I have heard that horseback riding also has the same calming rocking effect and has been used as therapy to treat people with emotional problems. When the horse hastens to a trot, you have to do a move called “posting” where you move your butt up off the saddle then back down again in rhythm with the horse’s trot so you aren’t bouncing and slamming on the horse. I imagine this would also be considered sacral rocking because your sacrum is what’s making contact with the saddle and then coming back off. Interesting and powerful stuff. ❤️❤️

You're very welcome, gorgeous 💖 I am 40 and only have 1 daughter 💖 I think if she had 3 sisters that may be easier, sometimes she would leave me alone in peace & quiet 🤣 but I swear she doesn't stop talking even to breathe 🤣 she probably speaks through both the in and the out-breath 🤣 You're amazing for starting this fun new hobby. You're an excellent role model and I'm sure your girls will benefit from what you're doing, too. Inspire them with your awesomeness ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️💖💖💖💖 we don't even need to be good at things to inspire... we inspire even more when we keep trying anyways. My daughter watches me drop my hoop and try again and keep working on moves that look hopeless for ages... and that makes her keep trying, too. She can see that it's OK to not be instantly good at something - as long as we keep trying, we are making progress anyways and it's a way to have fun. Exercise doesn't have to be competitive or boring. It can be playing and learning 💖 keep shining bright, Supermum 💋

Thank you, gorgeous 🧡 it feels sometimes so lovely to not just workout or worry about body parts & focus on movement or calories... I love it when there's reminders how much good we are doing and how much we are achieving by making the decision to be active. It is definitely burning calories and toning muscles but how much more priceless it is that it reduces stress, calms us down, reminds us that we matter and that we are deserving 🧡🧡🧡 happy hooping ❤️

@@BeeVargaTheHulahooper I think it really is the perfect way to start the day. It gives me a chance to feel more in tune with my body and I played around with hooping in the opposite direction and also practiced snippets with two hoops because I'm not ready to use both hoops in your "Pure Core" course yet, but someday ;) Also, the power pose time is priceless. My back has been more sore than any other type of back work out just from holding my arms up and stretching in this video!

Thank you, Andreas! Sometimes I feel like I am sharing information that most do not care about. But I am very passionate about our physiology & psychology. It is fascinating that even the way we hold our body can make such a huge hormonal difference that eventually results in boosted confidence & elevated mood. To me it feels like that anyone who has access to information like this should encourage everyone to get into these poses. It doesn't hurt to include these tricks in workouts, how we feel about ourselves is huge when working out or learning anything. Often I also talk about the parasympathetic nervous system & rocking etc. so many easy little tricks that are fun while hooping and stimulate us physically & mentally to perform our best! Happy hooping & keep throwing your arms up, fake it until you become it, we all deserve to feel epic about ourselves! So just chin up, chest up, arms up & shine unapologetically!!! ✨

Thanks Brenda ❤ I believe mood is an inside job, it takes some awareness, mindfulness to catch ourselves when we are feeling low but we can always try our best and redirect our attention to more helpful places. That is what I've been practising for years now so that even if it's not an awesome day, I make it a good one ❤ hooping always helps, it really takes me to my happy place when I claim time for myself for some play ❤ hope you're playing lots and your eyes are sparkling ❤❤❤

@@BeeVargaTheHulahooper Oh yes they have an incredible character, I am breeding them. They were barking like nuts when I started hooping, 2 even tried to pull me away by biting my pants. They now learned to stay away as mummy is crazy and the hoop can fall unpredictably. I have problems with my body following strokes and a lung emboly, hooping can enable me to get back in training, I am trying little session 3 -4 times a day. It is vital for me to get a stronger back as my vertebras are jumping out of their position. After your trick with the power cord I got it and as a result I have heavy muscle ache in my abdominals. Many thanks for your great inspiring videos, they are great support and fun.

Hi Bee 🐝🥰 great class by the way! It was simple but effective. I have some spinal issues & hooping helps tremendously. Dr said is Spinal Stenosis not serious yet on C6& 7 & is creating the problems. I'm doing better but I'm still physical therapy for my neck & my hands. Enough of me🤦‍♀️ I just want to know where do you get those cute dresses? Also the tops you wear that are like A-line or princess style. I'm in the process of making myself some cute tops & dressers for hooping. I'm still believing that I can do a class outdoors. I do it with my clients on Zoom but non of them are willing to exercise outdoors yet w the hoop. They said they are too many people filming 🎥🤦‍♀️ "I can't have my large booty on KZfaq for the world do see 👀" hahaha😂 In the mean time I keep planning & maybe I can make them wear a cute dress like the ones you wear on your videos💃🏼🌼👗🥰 Have bless day 🌬️🇺🇸🌞 💖

Thank you ❤❤❤ lovely to read that hooping helps your back. I started off hooping because of back pain! Many years ago I was just too sedentary and sitting all day and my back was killing me and hooping helped ❤ I know about the fear of hooping in public or on KZfaq... I received lots of trolling especially last year on KZfaq and I found myself questioning my every word or move for weeks because people had problems with everything about me. Really not easy to let judgement and criticism go but I managed to get over it and understand it is their problems and their insecurities and if they don't like me or my content they don't have to watch... same about hooping outside... just go and do it, what people think is not your problem, it's theirs... we give too much power to others and let their opinion prevent us from doing all the things that would make us happy... just do it ❤ My dresses are from a second hand clothes shop, called humana. Uploading videos on KZfaq is not a paid gig and takes insane amount of time and because my channel doesn't get shares or likes or comments, it is little... little channels don't make money so I am broke AF 🤣 only going to the shop on sale days when they are selling the last things nobody wanted... shockingly humanity produces so much waste and excess that even on these days there are perfectly awesome clothes... so even starving hard working hula hooper mothers can wear nice things 🤣

@@BeeVargaTheHulahooper I find you both adorable and your content is very organic and real. Now a days real & genuine is rare. Keep doing your thing because very soon you will have a great opportunity that will bring the income you are working so hard for. Well 👗💗 the dresses & tops are fabulous for hooping. No excuses!, you can still hoop & dress like a lady or if you want to strip down, why not? 🤗 I think people in Europe dress very different from the USA; I find that they dress very classy. They have more of a classic look to their style that I find very feminine. I'm from the State of Florida & we are bless with beach weather all year long. All year around people dress very casual bc is very hot 🔥🥵 except for maybe during the months of Dec, Jan, Feb & March. But even in those 4 winter month it can get hot as well. We can have a whole week in the 30-50° 🥶❄️🧊which is cold to us & then the following week it will go up 70-85° 🥵🔥. My husband was telling me, Bee dress nicer & more decent that most women who are doing errant around our town 🤦‍♀️😂 He also told me, you can go and make some money at the local park just bring your hoops & take a few of your friends dressing with those cute dresses 👗 Bring your business card & tell people to pay you with cash 💰 But keep practicing bc you are stiff in some of the moves specially the arm moves 🤦‍♀️ He is very honest. I told him, that is my intention & that I'm waiting for my upper body to start flowing the way it should be. I have severe stiffness on my upper body due to my neck injury 🤕 and and I have been getting physical therapy to regain some mobility. So love I just want to encourage you that right now you are investigating in your daughter by spending time with her 🐣🌼💗 🐚🌴 Blessing from State of Florida 🇺🇸🦅🙌🏻💓

That is super lovely to read that this is useful even after 5 years ❤ I have been hooping for 14 now and it is the most exciting thing ever that I never miss a day learning something new through hooping. The brain and the body always picks up new skills and knowledge and that just makes it even more precious. The fitness benefit almost looks irrelevant compared to the general good feelings that instead of rotting away as I age and feeling finished, I feel like I am only getting started and it's getting more and more interesting.
