FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF A NEW COUNTRY (we're finally here)

2 жыл бұрынWe're finally here! Our first impressions of this new country are in...and they're good! We landed at the Faro airport and have made Albufeira our home base for the next few days as we explore the beautiful Algarve! We start our adventure when some food, of course, trying Piri Piri Chicken...delicious. Our wheels for this stretch of land is a 125cc scooter we picked up at Algarve RIders! Join us today as we explore Benagil Caves, Praia da Marinha and ride the Algarve coastline! So stoked to be in Portugal!

Love your videos and seeing places that I know I will never see in person. Just a suggestion for people like me who aren’t too sure where some of these places are…can you maybe put up a map and show us where it is and maybe highlight ALL the places you have been and by the time you’re done we can see all the places you went. This place is beyond beautiful! That footage with the bird my girls said your drone footage is better then the Bingham family vlogs great job it like we made friends with that bird chasing the drone ! I can't wait to learn all about this place ! Thanks for brightening my day !

Oh, my beautiful country 😁! I'm so excited for the vlogs in the next days! You guys came in such a good time because you are avoiding the summer rush to the south, it will be busy on the next few months, for sure! If you guys have the time you should check Porto and Aveiro out, it's in the north but (I am really bias 😅) such beautiful cities. Even though I am on the other side of the country, if you guys need any tips on food and culture experiences or any other things, let me know😉! Oh, I'm so happy that your followers get to know my amazing country!

The small stack of balancing rocks that you saw in the cave are called cairns. They have a spiritual meaning of patience, thankfulness and creating balance in one’s life. Cultures around the world make cairns for different reasons other than spiritual. My husband and I made a cairn in Norway. Never saw so many cairns like was seen in your cave. So interesting!!

Thats very interesting! We have long history of them in Iceland 🇮🇸 but mostly as guides for travellers, basically our Google pins lol

@@swaywhite4644 It’s true that the cairns help guide travelers but the concept was expanded. There was a fear that those cairns might be misleading and cause travelers to get lost especially if made unkindly on purpose. I have been to Iceland and love the people.Your cairns are probably made the honest way.

You guys should go to the Azores Islands of Portugal. My mom was born on the island Terceira (a US base was there) and my mom went in 2016…BEAUTIFUL!!!

Your drone footage is phenomenal Daniel....it truly captures the essence... We stayed in Albufera in apartments at the top of the 100 steps.....

OMG!!!! I'm portuguese and I love your vlogs!!! I'm from a small Town called Covilhã, is very close to "Serra da Estrela". It´s the highest peak in mainland Portugal, has wonderful views and amazing natural pools. You should definitely come and visit.

Lol... I live in South Africa and we have a lot of fast-food joints selling peri-peri food. We have so many different cultures, nothing surprises me anymore 😉 Enjoy the sunshine!
