Our first 48 hours of van life in Italy start in Cinque terre, 5 beautiful fishing villages on the coast of Italy and we get our first taste of all things Italian! We are nervous to practice our Italian for the first time and we fail trying to catch a bus. We then visit San Gimignano, a medieval town and we get to taste the local wine. The thunderstorms roll in and we show you what a cosy night in the van looks like. We reflect on our first experience of Italy.

If you're new here, we're Tom and Iz, a couple who have been living in a van for the last four years.
