@@alexlepage9456 correct they canceled the title the game just needs a new intro and new title, but it’s also a 50/50 the game might not come out due to how many spider games are being produced even with the wolverine, it would be best to finish Marvels Spiderman 2 and wolverine before hearing anything, but the game should be brought back up in 2026

the sad part about this that i think most people forget is that this was going to be live service according to the leaks iirc, and knowing how other live service games turned out it probably wouldn’t have turned out great in terms of micro transactions and an incomplete story

Good thing too. As much as I would love to play Spider-Man with my friends, after suicide squad damaged the Arkham series, I never ever ever want a Spider-Man live service game. No thank you. Stay solo single player please. Love service rarely works. To quote obi wan, don’t try it. Just give us some awesome carnage dlc for 2, then make the crème de le crime of Spider-Man 3 and give the story a great ending.

99.99999% likely. Live service just really doesn’t work. It is so rare for it to work. But in an established series, you don’t need to make such a drastic change

What I would have done if I were insomniac I would have created a different team, or group to work on the game, so they don’t have to worry about constantly updating the game, or stress about it

3rd partying or micromanaging would've killed this game. Basically the studio wouldn't have the assets to make a big game like the others and would keep struggling with the ammount of players online. If they want this game to happen, they need to put a LOT of effort on it.
