This was an instant buy for me if it looked good because I can't stand looking at a simulated computer screen through my computer screen. I feel like I am finally able to enjoy simming again for the first time in many years with such an in-depth mod. Thanks for convincing me to buy it.

I know it seems pricey, but this upgrade makes this a fully usable aeroplane, a huge improvement on it's default iteration.

I am an ex 208 pilot and you are right, you start the engine with the prop in feather. Our standard checklist for this pre-start check was, "Propeller - Beta Stop". I have just purchased the addon, as I've been pining for a steam guage version in MSFS2020. Thanks for the review... you sold it to me!

Hated all of the inoperable switches on the asobo version. This seems to fix and make the 208 a decent aircraft to fly. Hopefully we can get this added into fseconomy. Thanks for the video!

That would be nice to see a video on that interesting RNAV radio. I've never seen that before. So far, I just use it as a DME. I love this add-on. Worth the price.

You should take another look when the sound update is released soon. I would love to see a demonstration of the failure system too. I wish more aircraft had persistent damage and failurs.

I think the point of the WX radar being turned off before you energize the bus is so that you don't fry anyone standing in front of the aircraft.

Yeah I generally find ground crew don’t like getting microwaved. Could also be to lower the electrical load when you hit the switch to prevent a breaker from popping.

@@andyholmes9485 For me the kodiak never has been a nice handflyer. I hate that electric trim and the pitch is just very sensitive as they focused on making it feel right on full deflection yokes. They are working on a way to mitigate that so it hopefully feels better on a regular HOTAS

Twotters & a couple of Islanders ( both twins, ahem ) left down here, mate :) the helicopter shuttles went a while ago. Lots of GA, too. I think in true vintage fashion they just park at an angle & taxi out again. Wierd sort of product, not really sure what to make of it just yet. I mean, it's also a Caravan which is *not* on my list of favourite things, but they're doing the King Air too which I'm ... slightly more interested in. As you say, quite pricy though.

It will do, yes. Hopefully they can make it so the prop doesn’t unfeather itself in the future.

We only got the preview copy on Wednesday and we weren’t told about the projected release date, otherwise we would have waited! We are going to do a review of the full release but we have a few other projects to finish first.

@@FlyFromHome I bought it last night and it’s the first thing I noticed !! Surely that can’t be right, I was doing a flight in the rain and couldn’t see had to abandon the flight, hope they update this

In real life, single engine aircraft don’t need wipers because the slipstream from the prop clears the rain from the windscreen. I suspect that the issue you’re seeing might mean Asobo need to add this effect into the game.

Just fly in the rain in a single engine aircraft and start the engine - you should see the raindrops being pushed away from the windscreen if it’s realistically modelled.
