It's a cool concept and 2 of those would look great on my side-by-side pour over stand. It seems like they over-complicated the filter though. I wonder if the Hario V60 filters would fit.

We just tested it for you! The Hario V60 filters do fit, but they're a little too short for anything beyond a 5 oz. cup pour. We ran a 10 oz. pour through the Funnex using the V60 filter, and the bloom was too big to stay in. Again, a 5 oz. should be fine. If you want to do anything over that, just put it through a French press after. We would recommend the Chemex filter because they're specially designed to pull more oils and bitterness out, leaving you with a cleaner, smoother cup.

@@freshroastedcoffee indeed, the filter papers for various brewers have as much, if not more, to do with the final qualities in the cup as anything else.

Those paper filters seem like a huge headache, why not instead just buy the Chemex sock filter with holder and place that in the Funnex?

I love chemex but i see more 3rd wave coffee shops in my area using these to hold freah flowers 🥺 then to brew coffee.

sorry about the lateness. that's a sad sight to see. the funnex is cool, but i can definitely see the resistance to fully implementing it in a drip bar.

o m Lawd WhY you younguns can't do a few minutes prep before shooting here is beyond me. You could've just read the ad copy - mentiined,for example the company's pointing out the product's portability, or, especially, the silicone gasket. Then again, I see that this is several years old, so I am willing to check you out further.🌱Ciao fr now...
