I think with Lucy we’re seeing the “musical treasure” of the century!. She captures us as we become mesmerized by her purity, beauty, clarity and uniqueness. When Lucy sings I feel like I am in another land. It is really something special.

Although musicals are not my thing, I will watch "Rosie" as soon as Lucy performs live with it. I am firmly convinced that this young woman will cause quite a stir in the music world.

This is such a beautiful song and it speaks to me on many levels yes, it is a song for Rosie Boote in the musical and it tells her story. But it is also a song for our times on two further levels. Both from a personal growth and aspiration point of view but also as a message to humanity about where we are going and what we should be thinking about. It ticks a lot of boxes. Chris Broom is an amazing composer and lyricist and he has written an absolute belter of a song here. As for Lucy’s vocal performance here, I could go on and on but I won’t. Lucy is a vocalist of the highest order and she and Chris Broom stand ready to take the musical theatre world by storm. What a voice! Simply breathtaking. Thanks for your thoughtful and genuine reaction and your support of Lucy. Keep ‘em coming.

Hello Maria, I am so glad you are reacting to Lucy singing this beautiful song from her new musical " Rosie " which will be out in the fall in London England, before that she has her first public concert on the 5th March in Manchester England. Lucy is so special there are not many like her out there nowadays. Take care Barbara.

Hi Maria Great reaction to our Lucy She is very special .And this is a beautiful song Written by Chris Broom for Lucy and is from her forthcoming musical Rosie .You can see what Chris saw in Lucy 6 years ago when he first asked Lucy to sing one of his songs "One Day" . Chris said that he has written "Rosie" with Lucy in mind and that he thought that she had the ability to be the greatest vocalist of all time as she had the rare ability to bring the audience into the song. Chris being an award winning song writer and record company owner could have picked anyone but he wanted the best and was prepared to wait for Lucy to be available as she was still in full time education . These is new from the Forth Coming of 'Rosie" the Musical album she incredible amazing performances. It is impressive that she publish 5 albums at this age of 20 next month at Feb. 2024. All that I can say excellent singer.

Beautiful, incredible talent, total control of her stunning instrument, and sorry agree with some of the other sentiments, the likes of streisand and dion, whilst good singers, should not be in the same sentence as Lucy, they cannot match the pure range that Lucy controls.

This is the last song for Rosie, and now the musical CD is for pre-order. I’m waiting for the show tickets. 🎟 Nice lyrics and message in this song. Lucy has an air of Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Faith Hill, Adele, Bette Midler, Lady Gaga, Elaine Paige, Leona Lewis, etc. This is what makes Lucy truly amazing. I’ve listened and watched Barbra Streisand, but I’m a fan of Lucy Thomas. 🙂😉

Lucy has veen involved in drama classes as far as i know obvously this will put her in good stead for being on stage!,Lucy just has a gift which only comes around once in a blue moon!,hopefully 'Rosie' will make her an international star,then i can say to my friends who dont really listen to Lucy,'there i told you so!'.😊💖

Wow- that was impressive. From the words to the music to that beautiful lady with the Golden voice. This could be the standout equivalent to Never Enough from The Greatest Showman or One Day More from Les Mis. It’s the song that closes out the play. And that wasn’t an easy song as there was very little repetition in the different stanzas.

IMO Lucy is the best singer of her generation, but it is not just because of her innate talent, it is also the support of her family, the training she has received and also a work ethic that shows through in the steady improvment of her performances of the songs she has sung and released over the years. In case you hadn’t heard. Rosie will now premiere in early 2025. It is hoped a Staged Concert Performance will be arranged before the end of the year.

Thanks for the react to this new song which I have heard is the closing song to the Musical ROSIE, that is not confirmed but it would seem logical as this song has a strong and powerful message in it, once you really listen and get past the entertainment aspect of the song !! ! I also cringe when Lucy is compared to Streisand as Lucy has already proven she out sings the nasal Streisand in the several songs she has sung that Streisand has sung. It also puzzles me when reactors insist on making comparisons to any singer they react to to some other singer, remember you are reacting to the singer at hand, be it Lucy or any other singer, IF you insist on talking about Streisand go do a reaction to Streisand and eat your hear out !!!

This being the last song has probably come from me and my logic. 🤔😂 But I’ve simply assumed as the musical CD is for sale (order) and all the songs are listed on it and out, then this must be the final song from Lucy. Plus the amount of songs is about correct for the duration. However it is possible Chris could throw in another Lucy song or more, but I don’t think those buying the CD missing those songs will be impressed. 🤨 Each to their own on Barbra, but Lucy wasn't around or even born in her time so they didn't have Lucy. But they now have Lucy to take over and continue on. Personally I too very much prefer Lucy over Barbra even at her best.

Hi there I noticed that in your review of Lucys performance of this song, that you were getting frustrated by the lack of the technical vocabulary that professional vocalists and vocal coaches use, when they are analysing a performance, I know how that feels as I have not been trained in singing myself, I just know when a talented musician like Lucy is singing she is using techniques that she has been trained in to boost her performance in ways i can only marvel at. Anyway there is a vocal coach, who regularly reviews Lucy, and Martha when the sisters pair up called Juliette.
