It's very interesting the behavior of this new Blade. A complete racing machine. With tall gearing very track oriented made to win superbike races. More lower down as well as a ZX-10R, with the power always kicking in high in the revs but lazy cruise going in low rpms. Very interesting bike that is already winning BSB superbike races with his superb power and handling. Honda finally did a real racing superbike.

I've owned nothing but honda dirt bikes and Supersport, I've always just felt more comfortable on a Honda, the riding position, power delivery and suspension set ups always seems to be what feels good to me.

I have this bike. The fuel gauge (or low fuel light, actually) comes on once you hit reserve fuel - just about a liter of fuel left. It will also display an estimated mileage left. It pops up on the display on the bottom righthand side, where the side stand warning is. :)

My man I was not gonna comment but after seeing this 1 gear 80 mph no shift action it left me no choice. Max my man I know you know how to ride but what happened with this bike? Grinding gears false neutral’s what’s the deal.

the bike looks amazing seen it a lot on my Instagram feed recently but never in person. the bike must be expensive to run though judging by how many modes it has.

Wheelie control should be in 0 not 1. Not like the past model, this new fireblade has the Traction Control and Wheelie Control separate (which a lot of people didn't like about the SC77 that wheelie control and TC was the same), so have your TC high but W in 0 if you want to free willy x) Awesome video. We were waiting for this one!

oh you tested it..👍 Aaand you saw the issue with gears and it does not have power locked it just is like that (needs ecu flashing to open up certain things, but transmission is still the same).

There is no problem with the transmission it's just some people don't push the lever all the way they touch it and expect it to go smoothly into 2nd

Put a ecu flash on that thing an omg... I have the planer CBR1000RRM and the flash made a huge change. Clutches up in 2 and 3 at the front now no problem. Crazy the restrictions it comes within the US. Looking forward to upgrading the exhaust, sprockets, performance air filter, and blocker plates come up next..

you have to turn wheelie control off, to 0 to wheelie, i felt the same on my triple Rs, i thought it had no low end power, after i town wheelie and traction control off, it wheelies just like other normal 1000cc bikes. trust me and turn them off and try again

I have the 2017 model,same as the black 2020 other guy in video is riding.it does the same exact shit I've replaced exhaust,had it flashed and tuned in dino.just recently did a 1 up 1 down sprocket change.it def helps.it does the same but cuts the power delay almost in half.ive yet too see how much top speed I've lost.

If they map it for lower power for break in they likely limit the rpm and how much torque it has on the bottom end.

It's such a tough choice. The BMW with the carbon M package that wristy had that cost less than one of these is like a luxury Superbike. But this bike seems like a race bike taken and made sellable. Before this bike the choice wasn't tough but now... I've always been a Honda rider but even I think I might rather have a s1k for daily riding.

I have a 23 CBR1000RR and I love it. It's PLENTY fast and at a 15k price point it's perfect. I personally can't justify spending more other than for bike upgrades such as mufflers, fearings, sliders etcetera

Great bike for the track but when carving canyons the BMW is the one to have. I wondering with a sprocket change and tune you can get it to dig in low rpm.

The older blade was THE street weapon bcs the longer stroke and smaller bore it had tons of low end torque

I believe it's a factory ECU restrict, somewhat similar to what a new BMW and all the other 2020/21. Super-bikes did, to pass those new crazy Emission-laws....The simplest Way was to "choke" the ECU, BELOW 6-8 K RPM, but the power is still there, hidden, ESP in lower rpm, waiting to be unleashed by easy flash/reprogram.

Throw a tuner on that RRR and I bet it would do better than the BMW. But the price leaves something to be discussed... hard to justify that!

Watched a few videos of the Honda destroy a BMW m which has more power and everything better then the regular s1k they raced over 20 times and destroyed the bmw stock for stock

Knowing Honda and how conservative they are, the engine is heavily restricted which one can tell from the dyno graph. The EU and Japanese bikes put 202-203 WHP. When a ECU flash becomes available soon and you upgrade to a more free flowing exhaust it will push 220+ WHP. Not to mention the stupid long gearing the bike has. Doing these small changes and nothing beats this. Honda went all in with this bike.

Brand new bike the back break needs to be broken in & it is power limited for first 600 homie. hold 2 buttons for menu The bike is great only needs toon to fix everything wrong with power!

Maybe low torque in low 1st gear is bc of ECU tuning? Like how the BMW is limp in the US without an ECU flash. Maybe there’s a limit to how the power can be applied from the factory.

Its a homologated track bike. No need for low end torq, you are always at the top of the R's in every gear.

I never seen worse shifting in my life pop grind crunch was all I heard the whole ride lol dude it got a quick shifter you never need to touch the clutch unless you stop

he did what he normally do, and never had such issue on any bike, including a new grom. Probably this fireblade was so freakin' new that shifter needed some extra-strong up-push, but wristy's broken leg/foot is still not 100% having exactly this ""foot-up"problem. he would use to it in a day or two, along with other adjustment. Thank God none crashed/smashed into his Ass..!!

Rev the engine up right before you try getting back into gear if your rolling in neutral. Only way to avoid grinding those gears. You gotta rev up and shift into gear when the rpms are on their way back down.

HE obviously used to bmw perfect quick-shifter too much....who would not though. Than again, even the grom was not so sketchy/twitchy at shifting. Yes, he probably need to refresh those old-school-tricks. Man forget it after some time, and that broken Leg did not help for sure.

Raising the rpm doesn't help get the bike back into gear if u understand how the transmission works. Lowering you speed below 15mph is the safer route and going to 2nd instead of 1st reving just drowns out the grinding same premise of y 2nd gear in cars go out first its commonly the most missed gear wile racing and then they try to force it after the mistake again no trying to be that guy i love anything with an engine and just don't want ppl to be miss informed hope this helps
