I love these videos and you are my favourite equestrian youtuber because you keep it real. I look a lot worse than you coming back slowly after some injuries and I think it's so nice to see someone who is just a normal person trying her best. Thank you for taking us along!

He is such a good boy! Even his spook was reasonable and not over the top. He is truly a lovely gentleman. And I think we all have one side where we are a weaker rider, you at least recognize it and are working to fix it. You two seem like you are going to be a marvelous team and I am excited for his dressage test, I am sure you guys will be aces!

He's really changed in the last weeks. You can tell his work with the trainer, and your hacking etc has relaxed him lots. He's not as short in the neck or back and has a lovely easy pace. What a good boy. Those Irish know a thing or two about horses.

Awww you 2 are just the dream pairing!!! My god wait another 5 years 🤗 honestly I think you are amazing: for sharing, you look so good on him, and he looks absolutely stunning (always!) but just so much more relaxed and with you. Bloody hell, so so over the moon for you!! No one deserves to be happier than you! Xo

He’s such a super boy for a 5yr old. I’m loving that you are sharing your experience with Harley. It’s helping me, watching and learning from you. I am in a similar position with a 5yr old warmblood, new yard and surroundings, new coach, few issues getting sorted with chiropractor and massage therapy. Please keep sharing as your honesty and the knowledge you are picking up is massively helpful.

Such a wonderful boy! That’s really interesting how his training is going with your trainer coupled with you. Thanks so much for sharing. The weather looked really cold and gloomy (it’s still hitting in the 80s F where I am), but the indoor arena looked cozy. You did so well during the spookiness session…I love how supportive you are of Harley as he’s learning to understand how your worlds will be working together going forward.

You're doing a great job, you shouldn't be so hard on yourself. You're a great rider trying your best for your young horse! Love watching these videos so thank you for sharing. Can't wait to follow your journey. Also, do you still have your red Equitex? That would look lovely on him 😍

You’re very kind, and glad to hear these videos are a hit! I’ll have to try and do more of them. I don’t have that one, good memory. That one happened to be a gift from Equitex - they weren’t able to sell it as it had a fault on it, but after I lost Woody I opted to give it back to them. That said, we may have a new colour or two on the horizon so stay tuned!

You underestimate yourself. You have a lovely seat and a good leg. Do your hands and arms need work? Sure. But soft hands are a hard skill to learn and sometimes that's a skill taught by a horse that may not be one you are comfortable with (My horse doesn't tolerate handy riders and it took years for me to get myself in order still. She was also completely inappropriate for me). You aren't claiming to be a professional by any means and you are actively training who could ask for more?
@RidingWithRhi
@RidingWithRhi 9 ай бұрын
You're very kind - my hands are a difficult one, but i'm working hard on it! And sadly, some people seem to think that because you share your story on the internet, that you somehow feel you are better than you are, or that you must be open to any and all criticism regardless of what, or whom says it. I post to share what i learn as i go along and provide some relatable comfort, but as you say, i'm actively training and have a coach from whom I learn and take my feedback.
