Wow endurance racing that sounds awesome. What surface was it on? I am so happy I now own one of these. There are a few of the Kyosho I want but atm it's all about club racing. Not sure how my subscribers like the club racing as the 2nd video I posted didn't do too well. Thanks for tuning in FhuzPatch.

Just keep making vids you're happy with. The track we raced on was basically the same material as current tracks out here: a hard dirt or clay surface, but soft in parts of the track. I miss that track actually. Have you tried the Ultima on a track to compare it to the Cougar? Maybe try a video like that, comparing old cars to newer ones ... once you set up your new one to handle better ;o). Keep the rubber side down!

Would love to race these old school RC's I have the re re Optima Mid too, but I can not bring myself to run it and spoil it. Thanks for tuning in. There are a few of the Kyosho I still want so stayed tuned for more on the channel.

@@FullOnRC yeah, I don't think I'd be able to bring myself to race my Turbo Optima....Mainly because I still haven't found arms in stock anywhere, amd also I can't get the right undertray I need.... if I can score the regular Optima kit, I'll throw an undertray at it and send it...lol I still want at least 1 trailing arm car, the Beetle or Turbo Scorpion, or preferably both...lol I'd like to get a Mid maybe, if theu release a LWB I might bite on that.... couldn't get the Mid as I'd just spent a lot on the Ultima and some spares, as well as the Turbo Optima Gold kit, what spares I could get ahold of, and also 2 new Radios for son amd I as well as tires, electronics, and such in prep for our outdoor offroad race season.... I really hope Kyosho keeps pumping out the ReRe kits, as well as additional batches of previous ones, and plenty of parts.... I haven't got any Vintage racing in my area, so have just been sending it against the modern buggies.... it will hang pretty well too, even with my limited piloting skills...lol Hope you have lots of fun with yours...keep the motor screws tight so the mesh stays good....mine has a Reedy 8.5t and is holding up pretty well, and it sees pretty serious air time... @@isaiahfurrow7414 Nice one. My Optima mid is running 4000kv. Will run it one day. It has a custom body on it atm so really don't want to bash that up. I may get a running body for it and undertray is pretty cheap. Running on sand don't damage body much, but if and gets in its screwed. I hear Glenn Tamiya legends ran his in sand and ruined it. But that was the original version not the re re that has better gear and belt cover on it. Have fun racing your RC Isaiah.

@@FullOnRC Yeah I remember my buddy had one of these as a kid it was ok but broke easy back then,,,, Like with the frog I kind of did not like it because it broke easy but i got a re release frog and love it now so maybe one of these would be cool too!

Hi Travis, sorry for late reply. ESC, Motor Combo is this wheelspinmodels.co.uk/i/300323/ It will fit but it is a job to get it in. Fan on ESC goes above the chassis plate, and ESC unit itself goes under the plate. If you run into problems when you build yours, drop me a message and I will show you photos of how I fitted mine.
