I wish Jackie Chan stays young forever so he could make more movies for us to enjoy. There's no 2nd Jackie Chan in this world that could make us laugh and and action at the same time. His movies are enjoyable and could be watched over and over again without getting bored, agreed?

@@TOXICWARBRINGER Exactly, that is real fighting. Eye jabs, biting, hair pulling and low blows are legit moves to hurt your opponent. MMA doesn't allow these because its a sport first and foremost, not a real fight. In a real fight, grappling and clinching your opponents is very disadvantageous.

There will never be an action star like Jackie Chan. So many stunts that make your heart skip a beat, since the guy is in actual mortal danger. Usually action scenes involving ladders, spears, knives and jumping through giant panes of glass are considered the most dangerous, they might as well be some of the most save things Jack Chan has done in his career. But what makes it so special is stuff like this clip: The antagonists are clearly portrayed to be much stronger than Jackie, so much so that he stands no chance in a direct fight, so he evades them, does acrobatics to avoid them and succeeds by being nimble like a squirrel. And of course, great action that goes hand in hand with great visual comedy. There will never be someone like him, only mere copycats, but I doubt even they would do have the crazy stuff Jackie did.

God damn. The big guy is Nathan Jones from the WWE circa 2002. I used to watch this move all the time in the late 90's and remember seeing Nathan Jones in the WWE in 2002 and never made the connection until now. I forgot that Jackie is in Australia for the majority of the film which is where Nathan if from. I had no idea that Nathan Jones had a career in films before the WWE.

@blabla-rg7ky3 жыл бұрын
this one is a bit less Police Story-y if I may say so. I mean, it's less serious than all other movies in the series, so if you haven't watched those yet and wish to witness Jackie at his best (especially in PS 1 and PS 2) I highly recommend you watch them. Don't get me wrong, this movie is AWESOME as well - after all, it is a JC movie :) - but the other 2 are better than this one in my opinion. Didn't like PS 3 that much, however, and I also couldn't handle the aggressive teens in New Police Story, which I would have beaten badly for their nerve and evilness. I did enjoy the latest Police Story, though (the one released in 2013, I don't remember its name). That one - despite of Jackie being old as fuck in that movie - is the typical PS movie that Jackie had spoiled us with in the 80s.

Director: Alright Jackie, we rented out the 2nd floor of the hotel so we could film the escape sequence. I know how you like to do your own stunts with no safety wires, so if you fall out of the window, there are some bushes there, and we can put apple boxes in trucks and it'll make sense why they are there. You'll be completely safe. Jackie: No.... let's film it on the roof. Director: huh? the building is 10 stories tall. Jackie: I know :-) (starts to "Jackie Chan" himself up the side of the building) Director: ....

even though I agree that the stunt is amazing (because it's dangerous) I don't think it's bad that they've made it funny.
