I was so proud of him and he handled that shot like a boss. He worked so hard for it too this season, hunting every day with my only to come up empty...until then. we have a part two coming. I just have to put it together.

Yes, I agree. At that age it's tough shooting offhand with no support at any distance. Harris bipods may be a little bit easier to work and manipulate. They cost around $100 but that could be another option since they have so many different options in height. Arm strength will increase fast at their age but hunting seasons seem to go by faster every year and there's only "so many" seasons the human body can endure . I know my long days chasing bull elk in the mountains with my bow are numbered so we all must make the best of each and every year. Keep hittin the hills and make it happen. They shoot a 243... it’s a phenomenal gun for starting out. My wife has killed 2 moose with it. It shoots flat and fast and doesn’t hardly kick.

Yes, hunting is a way of life in Alaska, but there are rules for hunting.

We are careful to stay on federal land... we passed on more animals than made the video

It definitely has its own flavor, but when it is mild tasting it’s close to elk

Air guns are actual guns, but this was a 243 rifle.

Look, I never said I was voting for trump in the conversation, I just said he has done well for Alaska. Your response to me is the kind of response that creates a secret trump vote. I don’t agree with Trump on some things, but he has done some good things too I don’t like some people’s past but I know people can change and we should hope and pray that they do. Trump’s policies have been very good, his brash rhetoric not so much. It’s good to see other people’s side of things which I try to do. Thus I asked the first question, it makes you a better person.
