something about ego's way of thinking I'll say is you gotta remember he's talking specifically about someone trying to be the best striker in the world and that to be the best you also have to have enough ego to be the best obviously you have to work as a team but you cant become the best striker in the world if you yourself don't have the ego and confidence to believe you can be

excited to see your reactions to the rest also if you decide you wanna check out other sports anime at some point id highly recommend captain tsubasa which is another soccer anime you can watch the recent remake of the show that has 2 seasons if you do watch it and the other big one would be haikyuu which is the volleyball one which is another one of the most popular if not the most popular sports anime
