He truly is, there's some musical snobs out there who think you aren't a good guitarist unless you are playing crazy fast and technical, which doesn't always sound good or convey emotions well. Tom does a great job of serving the beat of the song, punctuating it with flourishes that are very unique to him and adds a lot to a song. During this era of music, there were a lot of great guitarists who didn't steal the spotlight with their playing but were still masters of their style, like Mike Einziger of Incubus and Wes Borland of Limp Bizkit.

This is Chris Cornell who is also the singer of Soundgarden. His voice is amazing. He and Chester from Linkin Park were good friends and died 3 months apart. Tragic...You should watch him sing "Nothing compares to you". Its beautiful

Chris Cornell was such a brilliant talented man. Sadly he's no longer here with us. He's voice was absolutely hypnotizing. Grew up listening to he's music. He'll live on forever in our hearts and in the hearts of all the musicians he inspired.

Audioslave... Now you're getting into some of the good shit. Cochise should be your next Audioslave song. Drummer and both guitarist in Audioslave were with RATM. You'll recognize Tom Morello. Chris Cornell (RIP) is one of my all-time favorite vocalists. Layne Staley, Robert Plant. Chris can hit some of the highest notes ever. You'll have to check out Chris when he was in Soundgarden too.

Still haven’t seen anyone do any Robert Plant solo stuff. But you gotta have really good stereo and speakers or some top of the line headphones and just close your eyes and listen. “Big Log” is amazing. “Ship of Fools” just wow!

I've never heard of them and never heard this song. Just like you, I lost myself at the same time. It was like a lullaby. I was mesmerized. He has a voice that just hypnotizes you and I don't recall one word that the song was about. Just the sound of it.

The "Soul Power" guy is Tom Morello. He was also the guy from Rage Against the Machine. In the Bulls on Parade video, you did in April, he was the guitarist doing the old school record scratch on his guitar.

How appropriate on the same day a video of Chris and chester both comes out. They were both good friends and knew what the depression was like. When one lost their fight with it, it was like the final bit of hope left the other. Rest in peace chris.

I’m about to lay some knowledge on ya... How fitting you play this after that Linkin Park video. Chester committed suicide on Chris Cornell’s (the singer for Audioslave and Soundgarden) Birthday because Chris Cornell also committed suicide the year before. Also the rest of the members of Audioslave use to be Rage Against The Machine. The guitarist in this band taught Adam Jones from Tool how to play the guitar.

It is said that cornell financially funded a sex child trafficing documentary. IT WAS NEVER RELEASED AFTER HIS DEATH. I think chester was trying to speak out after cornells death about these issues. Chester was sexual abused as a child.
