I always liked the Tiny Desk version lol I think the key is her live performances are better than the studio versions. I also just don't like this video, because it's before she was fully comfortable in her own style, and I feel the style in this video was pushed by the director rather than her. Or something like that. I think I remember her saying something along those lines too. Like she really didn't want to wear that lipstick.

Murder Song 5,4,3,2,1 by Aurora live Nobel Peace Prize Concert. The whole hall was dead silent during the performance. A song about Euthanasia. Very depressing, absolutely great. And you have to have the balls to sing such a song in front of millions (TV) of viewer at such a concert. It took a moment at the end of the song before the first one dared to clap. Also her first really important appearance in front of such a large audience. In the interview afterwards backstage, she said that she almost peed herself in fear. 😁

She is from Norway. She is not only great singer but she is a song writer (this song she wrote when was 11). Check Lucky (Live Nidarostdomen) which she made at age of 9. You can also check f.e.: Seed (official video) and All is Soft inside or Churchyard (KEXP)

One of the greatest singer songwriters in history. She had written more brilliant songs at 19 than most so called great artists could in 3 lifetimes. As a singer and performer she is unmatched. If she covers a song she improves it. A true genius in every sense and that's not an exaggeration.

Aurora live at Nidarosdomen, that's just magic you guys. The setting: Christmas concert in the huge and absolutely beautiful 850 year old Nidaros cathedral in Trondheim Norway. The music: Live, with full symphonic orchestra and choir....

You just have to see one of her performances from Nidarosdomen, a giant cathedral in Trondheim, Norway. It's all great, but "It happened quite" and "Through the eyes of a child" are totally breathtaking.

Most of the vieo was shot in her parents garden. In the background you can see Lysefjorden which means the fjord of light. Aurora wrote this song when she was 11 yo .. crazy! Google Aurora(singer) Wiki and learn more about her discography. Many of her songs has been used in different Tv series and movies.

Maybe her signature song. Written by her at 11. Everything about Aurora is distinct, and there is no one like her. She's unique, creative, innovative, artistic, artsy, kind, warm, earthly.....and a true performer and storyteller. Please do Murder Song from the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert. It's a gem and true art by the 19 year old Aurora.

Her voice is pure heaven, and as others have said she is better live. Something about the production process actually covers up some of the magic of her voice. The technique she has developed is honestly like nothing I've ever heard before. Truly unique.

Yes she is a fairy from the forest of Norway. She grew up in the forest. Her family had a bell they rang to call her home. She was often lost and was taught how to use the stars to find her way home. As a child she taught herself to play the piano. None of her family had heard her sing or knew she was writing songs or singing until (I believe) she was14. She had never had formal training nor does she read music. Between her and Angelina my day is filled. Sometimes I add some Courtney Hadwin to the mix.

I heard the video was shot on her parents property in Norway. Can you image growing up in that awesome place? Even though she is great in her videos, you must see her live performances. Churchyards live is awesome. All is soft inside is my fav. Also live at KEXP for both songs.

We should do a protest or something else until they watch that performance. Best performance, IMO.....by an Artist in last 20 years. I put that up there with Hendrix at Woodstock Joplin at Monterey Queen at live aid Prince at SB Halftime MJ at Grammys.... Do not like some of the above Artist...but can not deny.....they captured that moment in time. That every person in crowd left goung....going......WOW. who is that? I want more. Then telling everyone they see for the next few days......at the show, this Artist was just unbelievable.

AURORA is much better in her live performances. She wrote this song when she was 11. She was about 18 here but is now 25. She has grown up a lot musically and personally since that song. But it’s been rising up again recently... she has very different vibes in different songs.

She's got a beautiful look of innocence about her. Lol, and those are the ones that ya gotta be very wary of, because she's probably wilder than a buck...(but, we like those). There was a kid on X-Factor, or on one of those contest shows, named "Grace Vanderwaal" (if I spelled her name correctly) that sang in this exact style. Hard to believe what comes out of little kid's mouths on those shows sometimes lol.

I highly recommend checking out her performance on "Live at the Current". Particularly "It Happened Quiet". In general a lot of people (including myself) prefer her live performances, particularly her acoustic sessions.

Hi guys, I liked a lot your reaction, you talked that Aurora's seems conected to nature, and she is a lot indeed, and it shows in many of her songs and official videos. So I'd like to recommend you to watch and react to The Seed and Apple Tree, which are songs very related to nature and taking good care of it. The cover she does of Nature Boy is very very beautiful too, on the nidarosdomen concert, the hole show is amazing, but this song shows a lot of her vocal skills ♥ Take care, and greetings from Brazil!
