There actually is a great video of this performance with Barbra and Barry, live at her outdoor benefit concert she did at her home called "One Voice." She actually did this song with him, and "Guilty" from the album of the same name which was written and produced by Barry and the Gibb brothers. Great reaction... enjoying you.

That's an excellent concert & 2 great duets with Barry & Barbra! The album was actually produced by Gibb-Galuten-Richardson production team (Barry-Albhy-Karl), who produced many of the Bee Gees albums, as well as others written by them. Five of the nine tracks on Guilty were written by the brothers, and the others by just Barry & Albhy.🎶

They released two albums: Guilty, September 1980, and Guilty Pleasures, September 2005. The latter album is uneven with one brilliant performance “Letting Go” that is a studio performance.

Barry , Maurice snd Robin wrote the entire Guilty album. Barry produced it , and sang back up and duet on this and title song Guilt. Great reaction. There is a video of them doing these two songs

Thanks for reacting to this song. The other duet they did together was the title track from this same album called Guilty which was a big hit. BTW I think this Guilty album which the Bee Gees wrote and produced was one of Barbra's biggest selling albums. Some other songs from this album I recommend are Promises, Make it like a Memory, Life Story, The Love Inside and Women In Love{this song was also a big hit from the album}.

Yeppers.... it was Barbra's biggest selling album! But only 5 tracks were written by the brothers and the other 4 by Barry & Albhy....& was produced by Gibb-Galuten-Richardson production team (Barry-Albhy-Karl), who produced many of the Bee Gees albums among others they wrote music for.🎶

Patty-I believe Barry and Robin wrote this song and around 4 more of the songs on this album. All three of them wrote the title song. I never tire hearing this song.

Check out her "The Way We Were" album, not the soundtrack of the movie. It was released 1/1/74. I think it's my favorite album of hers.

Great choice, great reaction, thanks. When it comes to the Guilty tracks, the live versions just can't do justice to the subtle magic of the studio album. Usually I prefer Barbra live, her visuals amplify the audio, but here is an exception. There are so many stories about this album - maybe Barbra's memoir in November will give us clarity. Only Barry was credited on the album, the other brothers were not "I only wanna pay for one, they all sound the same anyway". Reportedly, Barry wrote and recorded demos for each track, Barbra then recorded multiple takes of each track and then handed them off to Barry to produce the final album. Whatever happened, the result was a milestone album for Barbra. At the time, I owned two copies so I didn't have to get up and flip the album from side one to two on the turntable.

The title track Guilty was written by all 3 brothers, four were written by Barry & Robin, three by Barry & Albhy & one by just Barry. The album was also produced by Gibb-Galuten-Richardson production team (as in Barry-Albhy-Karl), who produced many of their albums....among others the brothers wrote music for.

She did a concert in her backyard, in Malibu in 1985. I believe it was called “One night with Barbra” money went to charity. It was like $5k or $10k a plate. I’m just remembering this from watching it with my mom, back in 1985, so, my memory of it may be a little bleak. But, the other Guilty album songs sound even better from that concert.

She's an incredible actress as well as singer. Got to get to see some Barbra Streisand movies. A Star is Born with the official video of Evergreen, another Romantic sexy pairing with Chris Christopherson, is good too Two official music videos of hers that I really recommend to you are Somewhere, and A piece of Sky. Barbara Streisand songs on the A Star is Born Soundtrack are fantastic. The entire soundtrack is fantastic. The A Star Is Born movie with her and Kris kristofferson is my favorite one.

"Woman In Love", the lead single from "Guilty" was released August 16th, 1980. The video era did not begin until a little under a year later, August 1st, 1981, when MTV broadcast the first music video, a tune called "Video Killed The Radio Star". Prior to that, we used to listen to music without videos as we walked to school, uphill, both ways, in the snow. And we were thankful for it, by cracky! 👴

Barry and Albhy Galuten wrote the song so not the other Bee Gees on this one. Its only Barry singing on this as well. Barry produced and sang on the whole album with/for Barbra Streisand.
